I'm almost 36 now,
Started trading at 20 with $6,000.
First 3 years were the hardest thing I've ever done.
My parents were Vietnamese refugees who came here with nothing.
I couldn't fail them.
So I kept going anyway.
Made my first million at 23.
Fun fact:
I once lost $600k while on vacation in Tokyo.
I’ve also lost $900k in a single day before.
But I came back every time.
16 years later:
- 8 figures
- Parents retired
- Never a red year
- Life built from scratch
Who knows. Maybe this is your 3rd year.
All I can advise you is…
Don't quit.
The best concept to determine direction = market structure.
The best concept to build a narrative = OHLC or dealing range.
The best element to frame a trade = key level or CRT.
The best element to confirm a trade = SMT or key time.
The truth most traders struggle to accept:
Once you have a trading model, your only job is to execute the setups that fits your model. Nothing else matters.
Stop watching social media and feeling like you missed out because someone else caught a move. Their trade has nothing to do with your edge, your rules, or your execution.
Most traders don’t fail because of their strategy.
They fail because they keep searching for certainty in an uncertain game.
The moment you accept losses as part of the process, your mindset changes.
That’s when consistency starts.
Elon Musk criou, em um único dia, 4.400 novos milionários.
Quase 400 deles ultrapassaram os US$ 100 milhões.
Hoje sua fatia vale US$ 880 mil.
Palavras dele: “A magnitude disso é ridícula.”
The real value of CRT isn't the candle itself.
It's the fact that it forces you to wait for a higher timeframe liquidity purge.
Most traders see price reaching a key level and immediately start looking for entries, which isn't ideal. CRT forces you to wait for a proper liquidity purge before even considering an entry. By doing so, the probability of an actual range expansion occurring increases significantly.
The idea is simple.
Once a low gets taken, the opposing high becomes important. If price can then close above or engulf that high, it creates a protected low and provides a proper invalidation level. At that point, the probability of a bullish range expansion increases substantially.
When this entire sequence forms around a higher timeframe candle's low, it adds another layer of context and makes the setup far more meaningful.
That's why CRT is so powerful.
It's not because of the candle itself.
It's because of the patience, confirmation, and clarity that the framework forces you to have before committing to a trade.
When I started prop firm trading in 2023 with just $5K account, there were traders who were funded $50K - $100K but I did not let that discourage me.
As a young corper, I said to myself that I needed to make $100 from it bi-weekly and I'll be fine. Fast-forward to 2026 I made $68K in one payout.
Nowadays I see people making rage-baiting posts making it look like traders with $5K account today cannot amount to anything tomorrow, funny.
It is only a matter of time, start with that $5K account, grow! Don't let anybody discourage you.
''Traders are so lucky.''
Traders:
- constant arguments with family.
- missed social life.
- years of losses.
- countless sleepless nights.
- working with no guarantee it'll ever pay off.
- 10+ hours of charts per day.
- stress.
- anxiety.
- years of loneliness.
Yeah... lucky.
I won't get emotional about it because i've seen such pattern all over the years of data I've collected... so I know its normal.
Most traders would just get too emotional, reactive, and impulsive and start forcing invalid trades because they they're not doing enough... which is obviously completely untrue = in trading waiting patiently and sitting on your hands IS the work, waiting IS the job, being patient IS what you get paid for.
So yeah, change your traditional way of thinking and adapt.
The beautiful thing about trading is that small disciplined actions compound massively over time.
One clean 3r trade
One disciplined week
One disciplined month
One disciplined year.
That can completely change your life financially.
But only if you stop sabotaging consistency.
Every week, there are around x2 valid 4H candle ranges.
All you really have to do is wait patiently, avoid acting on impulses, and execute only when the conditions align... and you'll easily make at least $10k per month.
You’ve seen it week in, week out with me.
Here's an exercise to understand how probabilities in trading work:
Take a coin.
Flip it 100 times.
Yeah, it's going to take a while, of course.
But it's better to do it manually.
You could also do it instantly online but the effect won't be that strong.
Now, we know the coin has 50% chance of landing heads and 50% chance of landing tails.
But, you'll see that after 10 flips, you won't have 5 heads and 5 tails most of the time.
It'll be something like 7 heads and 3 tails.
And the sequence won't be : H T H T H T H T H T
It will be something like this : H H H T H T T T T H
Does that mean that there is something wrong with the coin?
Fuck no!
The problem is that the sample size is too small.
What you need to do?
Keep flipping.
You'll see that after 100 flips, you'll most likely have ~47 heads and ~53 tails, which is very close to the expected results.
And that's because the sample size is now big enough and luck doesn't play such a big role anymore.
The sample size is big enough that it has statistical relevance.
What you need to understand:
◆ Individual 'flips' are random.
◆ Never focus on a small sample space of 'flips'.
◆ Keep 'flipping', even if the results don't look promising.
◆ The sequence of 'flips' is random.
◆ Don't change the coin because of the result of a small sample space of 'flips'.
◆ Only focus on large sample spaces of 'flips'.
And, of course, by 'flips', I mean trades, I hope you already figured that out.
Now..
Overcome your damn laziness and do the exercise.
BONUS : Read about the law of large numbers.
I know a dude making $1.2 million a year trading a simple support & resistance strategy.
Doesn't watch podcasts.
Doesn't read books.
Doesn't journal.
Doesn't waste time on social media.
He has a system and executes it flawlessly every single day.
Takes ~3 trades a week and risks 0.5-1.5% per trade.
You don't have to be a genius to make millions of dollars trading.
📊 Trade Execution Model (CRT)
1️⃣ Identify Draw on Liquidity (DOL)
→ If clean: move to H4 chart
2️⃣ Confirm H4 CRT setup
→ If valid: move to M15 chart
3️⃣ Validate Model 1 entry
→ If confirmed: Execute trade
❗ Rule:
If even one condition is missing, no trade.
My 3 CRT non-negotiables:
1. No key level = no trade.
2. No liquidity purge = no trade.
3. No order block confirmation = no trade.
If one is missing, the trade is invalid.
Trading is becoming a more and more important skill each year
Job industries are getting worse, the economy is looking unstable, the stock market will likely crash soon
But none of this really matters if you’re a trader
In fact, you can have your best trading results while the economy is tanking and things are going badly for everyone else
As the world gets more unstable, traders will be the ones who capitalise on this and make more money than ever
THIS is why you should never quit trading
