Humanitarian needs are rising steeply in Ukraine, as essential supplies and services are disrupted and civilians flee.
The UN has launched an emergency appeal for US $1.7 billion to urgently deliver humanitarian support.

@thebardogbamola It appears that now you are saying Africans have multiple philosophical schools of thought. I suppose some of these are "original"?
In any case, this is progress relative to your original tweet. I wish you well on your journey of enquiry and discovery.

This will be my last attempt of posting anything that sounds intellectual. The reason Africa & Nigeria is the way it is, is because Africa has no original philosophical framework that touches on morals, ideals & decency. Most of these concepts are borrowed from Western philosophy
@thebardogbamola@AbdulMahmud01 The same argument could be made of Socrates teachings; there is no evidence he left writings either.
The insinuation that because a philosophy isn't universally accepted negates only reveals lack of knowledge of the topic.
Have we been this thoroughly miseducated?
@thebardogbamola This is a good question. Infact a great one!
A sign of erudition in philosophy is good questions; not good answers or universal acceptance in any school of thought.
Thus, to engage in African philosophy is to ask questions about it and not make assertions about it's existence.
@AbdulMahmud01 It's actually not too difficult to find reading as well as audiovisual materials on this topic. Prof. Sophie Oluwole on philosophy in Africa: https://t.co/8rtD7IvCj6

Afghanistan's national museum is again welcoming visitors and exhibiting pre-Islamic artefacts with the Taliban's blessing, a stark contrast to when the hardliners ransacked and shuttered the facility during their last stint in power

@UniverCurious@IntEngineering Not much will change...
-Powerful countries will resist attacking one another.
-As usual, powerful countries will attack less powerful ones.
-Knowledge democratization will increase number of countries that are "unattackable" without dreadful consequences.
-Era of a new normal

We are getting ready to build 'factory homes without the factory' by using our swarm build techniques. https://t.co/wzk2HvvPeC. Open house for the next model - at Factor e Farm in February of 2022.
@AbdulMahmud01 Adegoke Adelabu was a heavyweight politician whose legacy is not commensurate to popular folk tales. His political life is well captured in "The Price of Liberty" by Post & Jenkins
Following conversations from @federalreserve on #cryptocurrency has been quite illuminating!
Seemingly lethargic, but very wise undertones.
The public may be getting there; gradually.

You don’t own “web3.”
The VCs and their LPs do. It will never escape their incentives. It’s ultimately a centralized entity with a different label.
Know what you’re getting into…
Interesting debates going on within @federalreserve
A viewpoint: The current payment systems are mostly digital and very efficient, probably CBDC is an overkill
@africaupdates I'm afraid the powers that be know that.
IMHO, of interest would be a discourse on political-economic reasons more shipyards aren't being strategically built. I suppose we can arrive at a balance of preserving their political power and improve economic outlook for the masses.
