Local governments are dealing with 2023 challenges with a funding model from 1849 that was never designed to handle the demands of 21st century life in Canada. It’s time for a new Municipal Growth Framework—a revenue tool that grows with the economy, and a redefining of the way we engage across orders of government. #CDNMuni

Always amazed at how fast people find and start using a new online feature when you turn it on, and before you say you have. Tay residents and property owners can get their free Victoria Harbour boat launch parking pass instantly online now at https://t.co/U2DAH271Uo.
Why can't @GoDaddyCanada fix their SSL domain ownership verification algorithm to work with 3-level domains (registered domain is 4th level). Having to contact support everytime I renew a certificate & wait on them for hours to stumble through the process manually is so painful.
22 minutes now to identify that I'm not even talking to somebody that can intervene on SSL certificates; and doesn't understand how to read the output of dig. GoDaddy support used to be great. Now explaing what they need to do again. Just like I opened with. :(
A big thanks to Elizabeth and Mike for their hard work in making my vision a reality. Great job! I can't wait to share more information with our residents about @TayTownship services. Literally, can't wait. Sorry Elizabeth, I expect the next script for review tomorrow. #TayOpen

The challenging leadership team decision of the week. Close to protect physical health or stay open to protect mental (& physical) health. We feel that the Province thinks we should open (it's specifically allowed) and this massive facility allows us to operate safely. Play safe.
The Tay Community Rink will remain open for Private Group Bookings of 10 people starting December 26th.

@BobRae48 Better broadband for Ontario. Internet is a "challenge" in most of the Province. Decades of failed telecom and funding policies have not helped things.
Some days I'm annoyed by how crappy lots of "technology" is, other days I'm amazed by what's in my pocket. I wouldn't have bothered pulling out my DSLR on the way home from the office to take this.
