This piece on race, imperialism, decoloniality & #Hindutva came out in 2024 & tho I didn't share it here, turns out was 1 of the journal's 'most read':
From dematerialising race to distorting decoloniality: development-as-imperialism and Hindu supremacy https://t.co/L84MntXGAo

The difference in how the killing of Palestinians is described here is disgusting. Israelis are “killed, mutilated, and tortured”. But 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza are just “consequences”.
Cristina & Roberto Navarette are two of the most inspiring people I've met
They've spent their lives resisting & exposing the Pinochet regime
Now there's a film about them - made by their brilliant filmmaker son https://t.co/DqfRmeHisS

Depletion by @ShirinMRai has arrived, photographed here against the needlework done by women in our family. It is an extraordinary book, an event in Intl Pol Economy, which should change conversations about the costs of social reproduction beyond feminist circles.

Our thoughts are with all racialised communities and migrants who are being terrorised when they should be feeling safe.
When successive Governments and media dehumanise people with toxic language such as invaders or illegals, and champion cruel policies, the far right feels emboldened and legitimised.
It’s time our political leaders recognise how divisive language, and racist policies result in this violence.
The scapegoating and political exploitation of migrants including refugees must end, and our representatives as well as the Home Office must unequivocally stand with people who choose to rebuild their lives in the UK.
The government must take all precautions to ensure migrant and minoritised communities feel safe across the country and Parliament must be immediately recalled to prepare for a complete shift on narrative, policy and practice on migration.
We're at the huge anti-fascist rally in Sheffield city centre.
Around half a dozen far-right activists were here earlier, but were quickly driven out of Barker's Pool by a crowd of around 500 Sheffielders.
