The report highlights that the U.S. is home to roughly 40% of global data center electricity consumption as tech companies race to construct the infrastructure necessary to power advanced AI models.

This massive digital expansion has created an environmental paradox for the tech sector: while major companies publicly pledge to reduce their carbon footprints, their insatiable demand for computing power is actively driving a national resurgence in fossil fuel reliance. Striking a balance between pioneering technological innovation and building a clean, capable electrical grid remains one of the most critical challenges of the modern era.

Russian opposition figure Igor Eidman claimed that Lindsey Graham may have been killed by Kremlin intelligence services

According to sociologist Eidman, two factors point in this direction — the timing and the location.

Moscow had a motive: Graham actively advocated for increased pressure on Russia and support for Ukraine. He had also recently said that Trump supported his bill introducing new “hellish sanctions” against the Russian Federation.

He was considered the most pro-Ukrainian politician in the U.S. president’s circle. He promoted military assistance for Kyiv, including Tomahawk missiles, and lobbied for security guarantees for Ukraine.

The officially confirmed number of Ukrainian children deported and forcibly displaced by Russia stands at no fewer than 19,546. However, the real figure may be significantly higher.
