@HillsSusie I'm so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is hard and I think you are right that it is a transition in grieving. For our family, it felt like the last thing we could do for dad (which wasn't actually the case, looking after one another is). I hope you find a way to say goodbye.
@dunmorej@JamesMelville Or there are fewer staff because of chronic underfunding, compounded by impact of COVID. Or there are fewer beds available to enable keep patients safe from those who do or might have COVID. Emergency data doesn't show length of stay which has a huge impact on occupancy.
