I recommend whoever has gout, goes to their gp, gets a blood test and asks for allopurinol tablets.

Every attack adds about a year of wear and tear to the affected joint, so best not to hang about.

@kitterati I would hang out at the castle for a bit, get a ferry from cais do sodre to a bit of Lisbon across the Tagus (doesn't really matter where) and have a sundowner at miradouro da Santa Katarina. There are bars there but more lisboeta to take it with you.

Its shabby practice if you don't pay but it's much worse if you don't say that upfront
