Remember, Ramadan is a month where hearts are softened, a month of rewards and a month where good deeds are multiplied. It’s also a month of remorse and regret. Seek the Almighty in this month of Mercy.
The good & the bad you’ve experienced has moulded you into the person you are today. Value the journey of gaining wisdom through your hardships. The only power your hardships & mistakes should hold is the ability to turn you into something more powerful than you were before.
Never in my life did I imagine that such gruesome atrocities would be committed against an entire population, watched by the nations of the world, with some even justifying it. What's worse is that the perpetrators themselves were victims of similar persecution in the not so distant past. The need to repeatedly say, "We're the most moral army in the world" can only be because the opposite is true. In fact they're heartless criminals who are guilty of occupation, war crimes, genocide and a modern day holocaust. Shame upon you! Shame!
wallahi we take SO MUCH for granted. we don’t even realize the amount of blessings we are surrounded with constantly that we overlook. we tend to focus on what we don’t have, rather than what we do.
May الله forgive us for ever being ungrateful.
Over two million people forced into a walled and gated open air camp of 140 square miles for 17 years, are now being relentlessly bombed for two weeks straight by the most advanced nuclear army with the most sophisticated weaponry that include white phosphorus after cutting off water, food, medical supplies, electricity, and communications, destroying hospitals, schools, residential buildings, churches and mosques, roads and all infrastructure, killing hundreds of babies, mothers, disabled and elderly.
This is a campaign of genocide we are witnessing. The senseless killing has to stop. Basic human rights and decency must be restored. How on earth do we expect to achieve peace from all this mayhem? The whole world is watching. Be on the right side of history.
Mufti Menk
Those who think that to make peace, hospitals, churches, mosques, schools, kindergartens etc need to be razed to rubble, eliminating all life therein are fooling none other than themselves. It would only bring about the opposite. #unforgivable
You may feel hurt, wounded, broken or bitter but know that the Almighty is aware of what you’re going through. Always have good thoughts of Him. He will never abandon you. He will unfold ways to heal you. Your heart will be happy & satisfied when you see what He has for you.
"The boy died, the boy died!"
30 September 2000: This is undoubtedly the most unforgettable and shocking scene of the Second Palestinian Intifada: the cold-blooded murder of 12-year-old Palestinian boy Muhammad al-Durrah in his father's arms by an Israeli sniper.
The killing of Muhammad al-Durrah
On this day, 23 years ago during the Second Intifada, a Palestinian child was shot dead by the lsraeli occupation forces and died in the arms of his father who was trying to protect him.
Never lose hope in the Almighty’s plan for you. If you see improvement in yourself today compared to what you were before, you're on the right track. Trust Him.
It’s not always easy to walk the path to your destination. But you must and you will. No matter how difficult it gets, no matter what the challenges along the way, steel yourself. Giving up is not an option. Satan is waiting on the sidelines to see you fall. Don’t let him win.
Don't be so hard on yourself for making a genuine mistake. Remember, the Almighty had already planned it that way for you to learn from what went wrong. The lesson was necessary. It’s part of His Plan for you. Correct it and try your best to not make the same mistake again.
Never think that all the prayers you’ve been making are wasted. Nothing ever goes to waste with the Almighty. He’s got everything under control. The dreams you’ve been wanting so badly will come when He knows you’re ready for it. He can give you better than you had prayed for.
