My excellent friend’s excellent book ALL THE MISSING CHILDREN is out today!
It’s a li’l spooky and a li’l crimey - just like Zahid Gamieldien. Unless youre a cop, in which case: the crime bit is a joke. He was fully exonerated and it’s ok to joke about it now.
Estimates state that 7% of all young gators are eaten by larger cannibal alligators.
This is what happened in Florida, where a great egret narrowly escaped after an alligator was ambushed by a much larger one

@501cStephen@AllisonRaskin The follow up would have been a recommendation to apply leeches and avoid eating bitter food to help balance the four humors.
@chydorina@remissionbiome@LongHaulerBear Not sure if this is relevant, but how about a scale/tracking that accounts for (often major) fluctuations due to hormones? Tools that collect data and graph trends are great, but having to mentally map them against menstrual cycles makes the data way less useful or accessible.
@stuwillis I’m frustrated he stopped at 15, ignoring some of the most significant and powerful differences:
16 EFFECT ON BOWELS
17 FUCK, MARRY, KILL
18 DESSERT OR CHEESE PLATE?
19 GEOLOGICAL PHENOMENA
20 LIZARDS
@episode2480 Also: the Review Board will post their decision and reasons on the classification website. The report will list the 'interested parties' too - all good info to keep on top of to ensure we don't slide towards the kind of book-burning fascism currently festering in the US...
@episode2480 I doubt it'd go from the lowest level of publication classification (unrestricted) and jump both of the legal but restricted categories and go straight to refused classification (banned). Good publicity for the book though, and I love seeing book-banners pointlessly waste money!
@episode2480 Totally. When you’re an R you can never relax. Constantly stressed about missing your cue, hyper-vigilant to ensure you don’t. Enjoy your A privilege, Ayshford!
