Few Armenians dare say it openly. Even the opposition is hesitant because they don’t want to rock the boat. But TRIPP is a terrible deal for us, and anyone who has actually read the agreement knows it.

Out of fear that Azerbaijan would attack Syunik and cut Armenia in two, Nikol’s government effectively handed over control rights over a 32 km road that lies entirely within Armenia’s sovereign territory, granting the US exclusive management/use rights for cargo transit between Azerbaijan and Nakhijevan.

Read that again: a road located 100% inside Armenia’s internationally recognized borders is l being handed over under a 99-year arrangement, AND GET THIS Azerbaijan is a signatory to the deal!! why is Azerbaijan a signatory to a deal that is 100% within the Armenian territory?
