Hey Tiffany, you went on TV and said that your "heart breaks" for a woman who brutally strangled all of her children to death, and blamed her crimes on "the health care system" while putting zero blame on the murderer herself. You can't just breeze past that and try to carry on being some kind of public defender of conservative values or whatever. You're going to have to own up to what you said, retract it, and explain why your first instinct was to sympathize with a mass murderer rather than her victims.
Don Bradley is writing a book on Emma Smith. Don is a brilliant and insightful LDS scholar.
In a recent conversation, he gave these insightful reasons that the Lord could very easily have inspired Emma Smith to stay in Nauvoo vs move to UT. I'd never considered all of these ideas (below are my words and couple of the points mine, but mostly his and all derived from listening to him.)
1. Emma's husband (Joseph) and two of the four children who died were buried in Nauvoo.
2. Emma's mother-in-law Lucy was not in condition to go west. Because Emma stayed, she was there to take care of Lucy when she passed away. Lucy died in the Mansion House that Joseph Jr. built. (Joseph Smith Sr. passed away in 1840)
3. Upon Joseph's death, Emma inherited a mountain of debt. There was no real separation between Joseph's finances and the Church's. The Church was legally capped in how much debt it could carry, so Joseph took it on personally — which meant that when he died, Emma inherited it.
4. Emma's means of paying that debt were in Nauvoo. Joseph had provided the Mansion House and the Nauvoo House, a hotel she could run to support the children. Leaving meant walking away from the only income she had.
5. The Nauvoo House was a divinely assigned stewardship. D&C 124 commands its building, and Joseph's family was promised a place in it "from generation to generation." On Joseph's death that stewardship passed to Emma. She also held a partial ownership interest in the Kirtland Temple, which she maintained.
6. The Nauvoo properties survived because Emma kept them. Had Emma gone west, she'd likely have sold the Mansion House, the Nauvoo House, Kirtland Temple, and the other Smith family properties
7. If these had been sold, very unlikely that the LDS Church would now own any of them, especially the Kirtland Temple.
8. Succession in the Presidency. It is well established now that the Lord wants the longest serving apostle to become the next president of the Church. Had Emma brought her children west, there could have been a time when one of her children sought that presidency, which could have been very difficult for the Church. Emma staying in Nauvoo prevented this situation from happening.
Joseph said he "was going like a lamb to the slaughter to die for the people" of the Church.
Is it fair to stay that Emma remained alive and remained in Nauvoo as a similar sacrifice to preserve the History of the Church?
Seems to me that it has taken a while to play out, but the sacrifice by Joseph and Emma both is very real and we owe both of them deep gratitude.

100 years ago Muslim Turks were crucifying Armenian Christians.
An estimated 600,000 to 1.5 million are estimated to have died in the Armenian Genocide killed by the Ottoman Empire.
Letting in many millions of military aged Muslim men is dangerous.
a. yes
b. no
These gay men are buying a woman’s child to the applause of confused mormon suburban women in Utah.
The fact that this is not universally condemned by every Latter-day Saint is just evidence for how confused we are.
@GovSherrillNJ You literally have illegal aliens on the voter rolls in New Jersey that have voted.
Any time an illegal alien votes, it cancels a lawful American’s vote.
I fully support President Trump’s Executive Order.
In Constantinople, the French academic doctor Pitton de Tournefort (18th century), witnessed the impalement of the Christian Greeks from the Muslims: "They lay the victim face down, after tying his hands behind his back, place a donkey saddle on his back, and two of the executioner's assistants sit on it to completely immobilize him. Another one holds his head pressed to the ground with both hands. A fourth assistant tears open the back of the victim's trousers with scissors. Then the executioner drives the stake, a wooden spit, as deep as possible. Next, he takes a wooden hammer and strikes the stake until the sharp end emerges at the chest. They then lift the stake upright and plant it in the ground. And as the poor wretch suffers, the Turks mock him, ridicule him, and call on him to convert to Islam and embrace the Muslim faith."
Pouqueville also recounts the tragic end of the Greek Thymios Vlachavas from Thessaly, following the uprising of 1808. He saw him in Ioannina, bound to a pole in Ali Pasha's courtyard: "calmer than the tyrant who was enjoying his torment, he looked at me with a serene gaze, as if wanting to make me a witness to the triumph of his supreme hour. He endured the executioner's blows without groaning or complaining. And the limbs dragged through the streets of Ioannina showed the terrified Greeks the remains of the last captain of Thessaly."
Kandyloros reports that the Muslim Kehaya-Bey "disembarked in Kalamata in 1805 carrying twenty thousand stakes for the impalement of the Greeks. He advanced inland, captured and impaled about six hundred of them."
Another form of torture was "the hooks." They consist of a scaffold erected at the entrance of cities. The executioner hoists the condemned man high on a pole using a pulley. Below the pole are fixed hooks. Then he suddenly releases the rope, and the condemned man falls with all his weight onto the hooks, impaling himself sometimes in the chest, sometimes in the armpits, or elsewhere on the body. And they leave him there to die. Often death comes after three days.
All these were inflicted on the Greeks who refused to embrace Islam and Muhammadanism.
“Feminism is mixed up with a muddled idea that women are free when they serve their employers but slaves when they help their husbands.”
- G. K. Chesterton
Imagine working all day to provide for your wife and child then coming home to a filthy house and an ungrateful wife who’s been busy on TikTok. This is the kind of content women are consuming by the gallon on social media. Pure poison. Destroying families.
45% of young men have never asked a woman out. After Me Too, where consent can be retroactively withdrawn, why would they take the risk?
Feminists spent years blaming men for everything, from being asked out to, apparently, murdering their own children. Men are simply opting out.
This headline tells you almost everything you need to know about how the groundwork was laid for the Covid-era information regime.
By 2020, “natural immunity” itself was being framed as a dangerous idea.
Two years earlier, Google algorithm changes had already devastated the visibility of natural and integrative health publishers—including GreenMedInfo—while elevating institutional “authoritative” sources.
What followed wasn't merely a debate over medicine. It was a profound restructuring of who was permitted to be visible when people searched for health information.
I documented the timeline, the players, and the receipts here:

And @kieraevebutler - how are you doing today?
After Natasha Cloud hit a bucket and then moved to her Enes Kanter publicity stunt, the Sky got outscored 32-15. Cloud had cut the Fever lead to 81-75 late in the third quarter. Then she continued her publicity campaign. She never scored another bucket. Publicity.
This is what America’s elite universities consider politically balanced.
Why do we continue to fund them as if they weren’t accessories of the Democratic Party?
This is Dawson Clancy. He was only 3 years old.
Dawson loved firefighters and trucks. Patrick described him as energetic, funny, and a little boy who loved to push buttons. On the morning of January 24, 2023, Dawson did something big in his tiny world: he dressed himself completely by himself for the first time. Patrick was so proud that he took a picture and sent it to Lindsay.
That same night, Dawson was dead.
Lindsay Clancy took him into the basement and strangled him with an exercise resistance band. Patrick later found Dawson on the floor of his basement office and testified, “I knew he was gone.”
And when we talk about Lindsay’s relationship with Dawson, I think the things she herself wrote and said matter.
When Dawson was 19 months old, Lindsay wrote in a parenting group that he was “the most difficult human I have ever encountered” and said that nearly everything with him felt like a battle. Investigators testified, however, that despite examining the relationship closely, they found no evidence that she had previously abused Dawson.
Later, after Callan was born, Lindsay wrote that she “sort of resent[ed]” her older children because they prevented her from treating Callan like her first baby. She specifically wrote about feeling depressed when Cora and Dawson came home from school and said she wanted to feel love and connection with all of her children.
Those facts don’t tell us everything that was inside Lindsay Clancy’s mind. They shouldn’t be twisted into things the evidence doesn’t prove.
But Dawson deserves to have his story told too.
He wasn’t a diagnosis.
He wasn’t an argument about postpartum mental illness.
He wasn’t an inconvenience or a “difficult human.”
He was a three-year-old little boy who loved firefighters and trucks.
And in this picture, he got to be one. ❤️🚒
Dawson Clancy deserved to grow up. 💙
🚨 HOLY CRAP! Former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom was just EJECTED from a WNBA game for wearing a shirt with the definition of “WOMAN” on it
You’re a freaking LEGEND, @EnesFreedom 🔥
ENES: “I just got kicked out of a @WNBA game for supporting WOMEN! Let that sink in, AMERICA!”
Here is what actually happened this week.
An American missionary held in Niger for almost a year came home. Trump got him out. The media barely covered it.
David Morens, Anthony Fauci's top adviser, pled guilty in federal court to destroying COVID records. The same records Fauci swore under oath he never deleted.
The DOJ cleared the military to detain anyone who trespasses into a National Defense border zone. 161 people already held.
DHS has now billed more than 100,000 illegal immigrants civil fines. Total tab: 84 billion dollars.
Byron Donalds won the Florida Republican governor primary.
One week. All of it on the record. None of it on your TV.
Only the rich can afford to be communists, or if you prefer, "Democratic Socialists."
Grace Ryan, a 25-year-old chocolate heiress from Ohio, is the new poster girl for the communist gang. After attending the $35,000-a-year K-12 grade Columbus Academy she moved on to the $70,000-a-year New York University. Of course dorm life is not for nepo babies, so while attending NYU on her father's dime she lived in $3,170 a month Bushwick studio and spent $50/class for Pilates.
In between her busy life as anything but a poor student, she has photos of herself taken next to a $115,000 Hummer and puffing a cigar on a boat while sporting a $400 Ralph Lauren stars-and-stripes sweater. For the love of all that's holy, the last thing she should be wearing is the American flag!
I'mma seeing a trend here. Mamdani is rich. Hasan Piker is rich. Bernie Sanders is rich. Elizabeth Warren is Rich. El-Sayed is rich. Ro Khanna is Rich.
I could go on, but I think I've made my point.
