Matt Maiocco isn’t concerned about Mike Evans’ age:
“His age, I don’t think is as big a factor with him because of the style he plays. He might lose a half step, but does that really matter? He’s a good route runner, but he’s not getting any shorter, so in that sense he will always provide Brock Purdy with an open receiver even when he’s covered. Whether it’s the back shoulder throw, or going up and getting the ball, or boxing his opponent out and making those strong handed catches. I don’t know if they ever had anybody like this. But then again I don’t know that there’s really been anybody like Mike Evans.”

Fred Warner believes Brock Purdy will bring the 49ers a Super Bowl:
“He does everything elite in my opinion. Especially when he came back from his injury this year and he started to come into his own and kinda get over that foot and get his mobility back. You really saw him come to life. I think he played the best ball out of any team quarterback in the league down the stretch. His ability to process (pre-snap and post-snap), I think that’s what separates the good from the greats… Purdy does it with the best of them. I’m happy he’s on my team. He definitely is gonna get us a Bowl.”

After not playing for basically three months, rookie safety Marques Sigle tied for a 49ers team-high 7 solo tackles today, was in the open field multiple times, and made the play every time. 0 missed tackles. It was an impossible spot to be thrown into, and he answered the bell.
After the Achilles tear, Jed York came into the 49ers locker room and asked George Kittle if there’s anything he could get him. Within minutes, that bottle of tequila was in the 49ers’ locker room.
A couple hours later, victory in Philadelphia was secured. A new piece of 49ers legend
"From my perspective, being new, this team didn't listen to any of the noise. The biggest word is belief, regardless of who's in there. The coaches give us that belief."
Clelin Ferrell on the 49ers canceling out the noise
I have talked often about my INTs and I feel like #BrockPurdy plays a lot like me… He is mostly really good & makes a lot of big time throws, but it seems like every miss (which usually is a couple a game - which is actually very good) is an INT & the D rarely seems to drop any of his bad balls (unlike a lot of other guys)!
Working Theory: I def think there is something to guys who throw with more touch/less velocity have higher completion rates but also higher INT rates bc their passes are easier to catch for their guys and others!!
Thoughts?
