I have a question for you Kenyans. Help me understand. After we have exposed the corruption and theft by leaders in Kenya, WHAT NEXT? How do we remove them from office? Do the voters in Kimilili care that Didmus Barasa killed someone? Did the voters in Kirinyaga care that Waiguru was corrupt? Gladys Boss Shollei had a corruption case from Judiciary but is still in parliament elected by you people. Did William Ruto become corrupt last week or last month or last year?
So what do we do? Do we continue making noise and complaining on social media ama tuingie ground tuanze kumobilize na ku-educate? How do we do that without an organized structure? How do we run an organized structure without an office for meetings, strategy, registration, research etc? How do we get the office without money or if an office is donated don’t we need money for the furniture or the watchman? How do we pay researchers or how do motivate volunteers? How do we transport volunteers to villages to do activation without money? Yes they have volunteered but how do they get there and come back? Should they also carry packed lunch for the days they will be volunteering?
Are you ready to sacrifice your money to invest in the change? Who is this that you want to lead you without calling him or her a conman? Who are you comfortable with? How does this person lead you without resources? Do you now see why most people in Kenya prefer to do their businesses and live their private life without caring how our country is governed?

As a Gen Z, I believe even Khamasi doesn't understand what Gen Z wants. GenZs are not desperate for leadership positions. Our rallying call is accountability, constitutionalism, and competency. It doesn't matter who is in charge; everything else will take care of itself. The position of CAS is unconstitutional; you can't have your cake and eat it too.
