Things "aging poorly" isn't a thing. If something was great at release then it remains exactly as great no matter how much time passes. You've have to cut all these anti art concepts out of your head.

People absolutely do treat remakes like a replacement for the original. This happens all the time. How many times do we have to see this play out before people stop using this argument.

most annoying thing about video game remakes isn’t the games themselves but the endless arguments people have to have about how every single change violates the original spirit of the game and is therefore terrible
@weberju5 this is a stupid criticism, you could easily annihilate a planet with a rock going much slower than light speed, that’s what happened to the dinosaurs.
