What I’ve been saying for years; NEWS 2 doesn’t help identify people needing time critical interventions… Ambulance services need to pay attention https://t.co/WALxaL2AOz
@alisonleary1 Doing it for only 4 years and being considered ‘unlucky’ it certainly took its toll. Now I’m away from it I’m seeing just what it was doing to me
@nickynhstayside @AngusHSCP@NHSTayside Hi Nicky, the falls co-ordinator in your picture is wearing the uniform of a Registered Nurse (following NHS Scotland Uniform guidelines), this should not be the case as they are a member of the AHP group (Paramedic) and not a Registered Nurse.
@darren6015 Yep and it was made pretty clear to SAS by HCPC in 2017/2018 that criteria would change, giving a lot of time for discussions which didn’t seem to take place before DipHE stopped circa 2022
@JennyKeaneNHS This OT referred to is an overtime shift by an EMT, not a shift completed by an occupational therapist. Concerning given your role that you think OT’s work on frontline ambulances…
@PCSB999@CopTayside Can vouch for the boots being super comfy for long shifts, they do look quite clown like after wearing a couple of times… Bulling them also ruins the waterproof/breathable stuff inside so not best for parading🙃🙃
