Our members have spoken. It's time for @jeremycockrill and @SaskSchoolBoard to finally take this process and these issues seriously, and work with teachers in good faith to address the crisis occurring in Saskatchewan public schools.
#WeAreSTF
RCSD staff are committed to excellence in education and our greater community. With pride we celebrate two of our own strong, intelligent, and progressive women who have been nominated as YWCA Women of Distinction.
Congratulations! @KQuirozNorman@SherryChase11@RCSD_No81
After everything teachers and students have been through this year, the Government doesn’t have enough respect to recover real losses from previous contracts.
It seems as though this Govt has a goal of decreasing the purchasing power of everyone it can in our province. #skpoli
So first @jeremycockrill didn’t understand that not every table is “the table” & now he & @SKGov don’t understand that forcing a vote on @SaskTeachersFed thru a “final offer” loophole isn’t the same as having a “tentative agreement.” Some lessons on consent also needed, Jer-Bear?
This is government propaganda.
There is no tentative agreement. The government is forcing a vote using the Sask Employment Act.
The language and spin is meant to confuse parents. They want you to think public education funding is solved and that teachers are being unreasonable.
If I was a betting man I would put money on a bet that the Moe/Cockrill play in the current bargaining with teachers is invoking this section of the Saskatchewan Employment Act. A supervised vote of the government’s last offer. If so, teachers should reject it.
Tonight’s @x feed shows a whole lot of teachers with confidence in @STFPresident and @SaskTeachersFed. Add me to the list! #WeAreSTF@jeremycockrill and @scottmoe, in case you feel the “union leadership” 🤬 is not giving voice to or representing teachers, please watch!
I am an STF teacher and I am confident that the president, executive, and senior STF leadership represent my views, listen to teachers, and are standing up for public education. This is a flimsy attempt to create an appearance of division in a unified membership. #WeAreSTF
@Amylynnett You may not care...and that's fine, but we teachers care. That's why we are trying to secure a better learning environment for the students.
Hope fades as standstill between STF, province persists: The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation says the province isn't budging on making a potential accountability framework binding.

@visitorsdigest @owl_sparkle @STFPresident So. If I understand you correctly, you are against working to fix an education system (social change) that has not been working for quite a while? Classroom size and complexity has been an issue that both the SSBA and the STF have been working towards fixing for years.
