@benswerd@0xAgathoDaimon “Made something people want”… you mean the product that already existed and they are copying with minimal changes. They didn’t have the idea and they barely shipped anything unique. They were the ones that wanted the spotlight on them, it’s not unfair to judge them accordingly.
@lp4ever007 F2P only exists to create new P2P players. There is no fair treatment or anything like that. Just getting you invested to convert you to paying.
@IlyaAbyzov@EricHovagim@TurnerNovak Couldn’t have said it better about the work you did at Uber: “I think you’re well-intentioned too and I believe people like you genuinely think you’re helping. But you’re disastrously wrong.”
I think this is one of the best examples illustrating how LLM Al is a purely statistical model and is not doing any kind of actual "thinking" or "logic" and cannot be trusted for tasks that require even a modicum of reasoning, a short 🧵:
My statement regarding the AI generated George Carlin special: My dad spent a lifetime perfecting his craft from his very human life, brain and imagination. No machine will ever replace his genius. These AI generated products are clever attempts at trying to recreate a mind…1/3
@yoheinakajima Some people can swim faster with the stream, accelerating with the flow. Others operate better as a founder moving against the general consensus, finding new opportunities and markets that didn’t exist before. Both are critical for our economy and founder ecosystem.
@yoheinakajima There is a ton of value in understanding what has worked before and is repeatable. But anytime everyone is moving one direction, it inevitably creates opportunities for others to move against the grain. The key is understanding your strengths and playing to them.
@yoheinakajima There will still be huge value in the proprietary data sets some established SaaS company have access to that isn’t replicable via publicly available things in the internet. Language has a lot more free data available than many other things.
@Benjjjyy@dudelove1887 Nope. First, you don’t have rights with Destiny. You lease access to the game. If they cheated they don’t deserve a thing. Telling them why only give more info to cheat makers.
@NathanGuergis@0tbps@sdw If the 3rd party apps are “nothing compared to the dedicated app” then why is Reddit trying to charge those 3rd parties. It’s cuz they don’t put any effort into their app and just want everyone to deal with a shot experience.
