@Delta I totally get delays, but I have to say, flight 28 to Nice has been one of the worst experiences in my 2.5 million miles of flying Delta. Endless promises of 5 minutes until boarding and "I'm sorrys" instead of giving us a realistic time so we can go find something else to do, like hang out at a restaurant or hang out at the D1 Club vs just standing in the gate waiting. Then when we do start boarding, the plane is still being catered, so we end up hanging out in the jetway for another 30 minutes. When we finally do get on the plane, one of the things I always look forward to is a glass of champagne before we take off, and that wasn't offered either. I have to say, the D1 experience has really gone downhill.
