Third, your next investment will not be in a woman who needs building, you have already built two complete human beings from scratch with your resources, your time, and your emotional capacity. Come back with a current affairs programme, sharp, structured, uncomfortable, the kind of show where powerful people sweat under studio lights and ordinary Nigerians get the questions actually answered, hosted by a man who has already survived two public storms with his dignity completely intact, which means nobody can threaten him, blackmail him, or buy him with a land allocation.

The 5-star hotel operates under Mac-Folly Hospitality Limited, a subsidiary of SIFAX Group, while it is managed by Marriott International.

Founded in 1988, SIFAX Group started as a modest freight business but has grown into one of West Africa’s leading companies with investments in maritime, aviation, logistics, oil and gas, and hospitality.

Completed in May 2021, the stunning Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja sits on a 7,000 square meter land area and features 251 luxury rooms across seven floors. The hotel was designed by G1 Architecture, while Dori Construction and Engineering handled the construction.

According to reports, room prices range from about N583,635 for standard rooms to as high as N3.9 million per night for the Presidential Suite.

From freight business to luxury hospitality, Taiwo Afolabi’s journey is another example of how vision, consistency, and smart investments can build an empire.
