I hired a BD who relocated from Lagos to our then Akure office. Two weeks into the job she requested to attend a training she had registered for in Lagos. She got back to work on Monday.

I remember we had a strategy session that day..reviewed our playbook etc.. an agency even came to pitch us ... you need to see the way she grilled them, speaking in "us, we, 6 months plan, 1 year plan" . LOL

That same day, by 5PM on the dot, she dropped a resignation on Slack...and before I could say jack she's gone offline.... she left for a big commercial bank (fair enough)..... the 'training' was actually her 'onboarding'.

Employees also have dreams and aspirations. They have a dream job in mind, and 9/10 times it's not your shaky, not-funded, about-to-die, barely-meeting-payroll startup.

The onus is on you to build that company into the "dream job" that people would fast and pray to land...

Until then, support and appreciate their contributions.... and when it's time to move on let them leave with the 'loudest possible' applauds.

Looking back, I think my Dad was nice and played it the "what would Jesus do ?" Way.

Some owners are of work, are just plain wicked and inconsiderate.

So he said, we should do half piping and assure the man that we were done and the casting would be done. The man will pay more than that to rectify the issue.
My dad disagreed sha. We completed the work and till date that man didnt pay my Dad completely for the piping.

Property Treatment Update

The PROSEAL team is on-site today at one of our valued clients @oyasmartfix's managed properties. Unfortunately, the building has been experiencing severe rising damp issues over time, leaving the block walls saturated and structurally compromised.

Our specialized damp proofing treatment will not only resolve the root cause of the excess moisture, but also help reinforce the blocks. By preventing further water absorption, the walls will regain strength and integrity lost to the damp conditions.

In addition to eradicating the damp, PROSEAL's solution is designed to extend the property's lifespan by fortifying its foundation for long-term durability protection. We'll share progress updates as the treatment process moves forward. Our goal is to deliver fully resolved damp issues and restoration of this important asset. Dear valued customers

I wanted to share with you all an important person who has been with us since the very beginning - Ade, owner of @oyasmartfix services.

When my husband and I first launched our waterproofing business under 3Sisters over a decade ago, Ade was one of our earliest clients who gave us a chance.

As many of you know, Ade's company offers general repairs and maintenance for both residential and commercial properties. When Ade first came across our fledgling business under 3Sisters, one of his clients was experiencing issues with their roof gutter and soakaway pit. Rainwater was leaking directly into the walls of the home due to faults in these areas.

Recognizing we specialized in waterproofing solutions, Ade brought us in to assess the problem. That initial job of repairing the gutter and waterproofing the soakaway around a decade ago was our big break.

We were able to solve the leaks quickly and to Ade's client's full satisfaction. From then on, Ade regularly sent us other projects requiring our expertise in plastering, tanking , cracks, leakages and damp treatment works.

Even today, Ade trusts us to handle the waterproofing needs of his various property management accounts. It has been such a pleasure to continue partnering with him and his company over the years.
