@USMOVIC What that means is that, when government subsidized the fuel, your filling stations will buy it from the depot at less than N100, take it to their station, keep hoard it, create artificial scarcity, you will be forced to go to black market and buy at 3K.

@ARISEtv I can assure Nigerians that if government subsidises petrol and pegs it at ₦400/L, many of us will still effectively buy it at ₦1,000 only this time, through shortages, queues and black markets. A cheap official price means little if the fuel isn't available.
