Classic Tony Greig commentary praising the beauty of the women in the crowd.
Tony Greig: Oh boy... and she looked gorgeous.
(A long pause follows as Bill Lawry refuses to take the bait)
Tony Greig: Well, go on then, say something.
(Another pause)
Tony Greig: He won't say anything. It's gotta be a pigeon before he comments.
Bill Lawry: You dig a hole, you fill it up, mate.
(Cameraman cuts a shot of a pigeon sitting on the grandstand roof)
Tony Greig: Oh, isn't that beautiful!
Bill Lawry: That's what's called a mongrel black checker.

Round 16, 2025. Rabbitohs down to the bare bones against the Storm. Battered by injuries, written off by everyone, yet somehow they push Melbourne all the way to golden point.
And Jai Arrow played his heart out for the full 80.
Huge defensive efforts. Massive carries. A try-saving tackle to keep Souths alive. The type of performance that summed up his entire 2025 season.
Then comes the ending.
Papenhuyzen field goal. Game over.
After the siren, Arrow was absolutely gutted. No handshakes. He stormed straight off the field, kicked over a bench seat on the way to the sheds, and later admitted it was a “bit of a hissy fit” caused by pure disappointment.
Some people hated the reaction. Honestly? I loved it.
Not because of the bench kick or the no handshakes — but because you could see how much the game genuinely meant to him. It wasn’t fake passion or robotic “good game brother” stuff five seconds after a heartbreaking loss. It was raw emotion from someone who had emptied the tank for his club.
Looking back now, it hits even harder.
Arrow played every single game in 2025 despite his own shoulder issues, carried a depleted Souths pack all year and won the George Piggins Medal as the club’s best and fairest.
That moment after the Storm loss captured exactly who he was as a player: tough, emotional, passionate and willing to give absolutely everything for the jersey.
Now he’s facing a far bigger fight than footy. ❤️
@Timmeh1985 Bloke tries to hard - which is the reason for losing structure and any authenticity he may possess. Out of all the past players, surely could’ve found a better bloke than ennis though
One Nation won the seat of Farrer with close to 60% of the two party preferred vote in a democratic election.
Last night the ABC, our $1 billion a year taxpayer funded national broadcaster, implied that One Nation was an illegitimate political party.
This morning on Insiders the ABC allowed commentators to declare One Nation was “at its core” “a racist and bigoted” party.
The “impartial” ABC failed to challenge or even debate the claim.
Other supposedly “impartial” media outlets have published similar articles, dismissing and demonising the millions of Australians who have said they would vote for One Nation.
These people don’t get it. We live in a democracy.
Labor, Liberal, the media, the academics and the lobbyists don’t get to decide who represents Australian people.
No one except the people of Australia get to decide who is “legitimate” and worthy of representing them in Parliament.
On Saturday, the people of Farrer chose One Nation.
