I had the last day of my current case at VCAT last Tuesday 16th of June to see if I’m guilty of professional misconduct. Two experts testified, Prof Clancy respiratory immunologist and an experienced psychiatrist . This is the case that started in the middle of last year. It covered a great deal of ground from the seizure of my files without a warrant, prescription of ivermectin, whether I was obligated to handover my files, the ability of the ATAGI position statement to control what doctors could tell patients, and whether the new medical evidence can abrogate the position statement, the criteria for medical exemption certificates and whether severe anxiety and depression and possible suicidal behaviour constitute an acute severe medical condition. Judgement will take “some time” according to the judge so I guess about four weeks.
