Today, I write from a place of deep pain, disappointment, and frustration. Words can barely describe the emotional burden I am carrying after losing 600k on a betting ticket that I trusted and believed in. What makes this loss even harder to accept is that the game was booked by @39Billion, a person whose confidence and reputation led many, including myself, to believe that the selections were worth trusting.
Right now, I am overwhelmed with anger. Not just because of the money that is gone, but because of the hopes, expectations, and sacrifices attached to that money. 600k is not a small amount. It represents countless hours of work, sleepless nights, personal sacrifices, and plans for the future. To watch such a huge sum disappear within a few hours is heartbreaking beyond words.
Today, I mourn the loss of 600k I mourn the plans I had for that money. I mourn the hope I attached to that ticket. And I acknowledge the emotional and mental toll this experience has taken on me.
Even the daughter of a billionaire is still working out during pregnancy to stay fit whereas the average pregnant Nigerian woman will eat everything available at anytime of the day and watch herself grow fat while doing nothing and will blame it on pregnancy.
At the end of the day, what Temi Otedola proved is that pregnancy is natural and nothing complicated, and you can remain in good shape if you desire so. And any woman who ends up fat is just a lazy ass glutton.
This right here is the problem of Nigerians.
We adapt to anything at blistering speeds.
Gas is expensive, ditch it and start using charcoal.
Sachet water is expensive, ditch it and start drinking well.
They are kidnapping in the rural areas, ditch it and move to urban arrears.
Fuel is too expensive, pack car at home and take public transport.
Foreign rice is too expensive, ditch it and buy cheap local and stony ones instead.
They kidnap and kill one child, hold the remaining ones tight and keep praying.
We don't have a limit to our ability to suffer.
We are the most useless and gullible citizens on the planet.
