On the sacred occasion of the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, I offer my respectful homage to a towering spiritual great of our civilisation. His life was a radiant example of fearlessness, sacrifice and deep concern for humanity. He stood firm in defence of truth, dignity and faith, even in the face of grave adversity. May his eternal message guide us in creating a just, compassionate and harmonious society.
Today, out of nowhere, two English lads named Tom and Ben came to my restaurant in Hammersmith and started cleaning the shopfront, which had been pelted with halal eggs by inbreds.
My good Pakistani neighbours are not happy seeing us united.
This unites us against the Islamisation of the UK. Let's fight this war together peacefully against the peaceful community. 🙏
Four million Indians wake up every day in the UAE and go to work, open their shops, teach in classrooms, build companies, treat patients, and raise families.
Life is moving. Schools are open. Offices are running. Flights are landing. The country is steady.
The UAE was built on order, discipline, and foresight. Security here is structured, layered, and constant. Every resident matters. Every community is part of the national fabric.
India and the UAE are connected through decades of shared effort and shared success. That connection is visible in every neighborhood and every industry.
To the families watching from India: your loved ones are in a country that plans carefully, acts decisively, and protects responsibly.
This is a place of stability.
This is a place of trust.
This is home for millions and it remains secure. 🇦🇪🇮🇳
Winging Aussies, don’t truly understand Australia until they’ve lived where systems don’t protect you.
I’m an immigrant from Pakistan. In much of South Asia, you don’t assume safety, fairness, or dignity you negotiate for them daily. Access often depends on connections, cash, or chaos.
In Australia, there are atleast processes, accountability, and equal treatment. Clean water, working infrastructure, emergency services that actually arrive. These sound basic, until you’ve lived without them.
Here, time is respected. Work is valued. You can build wealth without bribing anyone and fail without being permanently crushed. That is rare globally.
This isn’t saying Pakistan or India are bad, they’re my roots. But perspective matters.
Criticise to improve, absolutely.
Disrespect from entitlement? Hard to relate to.
Australia didn’t owe me anything, yet it gave me dignity and a future.
Gratitude isn’t weakness. It’s awareness.
@ZohaibQazi@bhavdip143 Like anywhere, there are immigrants who complain about everything, mate. But living here is a privilege, and Australia truly is heaven ❤️ from an immigrant.
Thank you, my friend, Prime Minister Modi, for the warm conversation and friendship.
I extend my best wishes to the people of India.
Israel values the deep partnership with India and our shared determination to defeat terrorism. 🇮🇱🇮🇳
Heartbreaking to read about the brutal assault on a Hindu widow in Bangladesh. Such violence against anyone, anywhere is unacceptable. Prayers for justice and support for the survivor. 🙏
The U.S. rarely issues condolences for political killings, yet it did so for Sharif Osman Hadi. After his death, Hindu minorities in Bangladesh were targeted. One Dalit was lynched and burned tied to a tree. Trump once promised Hindu Americans tough action against Islamist violence in Bangladesh; that promise has now vanished. Destabilising India’s neighbourhood, supporting Pakistan and pursuing regime change in Bangladesh appears aimed at preventing the rise of another China-like power. We have faced greater trials and will rise above this too.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji - ‘Hind Ki Chadar’, the Shield of India - is remembered today for his supreme sacrifice. He stood fearlessly for Kashmiri Pandits and all those oppressed under Aurangzeb, choosing martyrdom to defend freedom of faith for every human.
For not converting to Islam:
- Guru Tegh Bahadur was publicly beheaded
- Bhai Mati Das was sawn in half vertically
- Bhai Dayala was boiled alive in a cauldron
- Bhai Sati Das was wrapped in cotton and burned alive
But @SGPCAmritsar wants you to believe that Sikhs and Muslims share the same ideology.
Real Sikhs stand against injustice in the past and continue to do so.
Hindus & Sikhs in Punjab don’t just coexist - they share families. Look at Abhishek Sharma’s sister marrying a Sikh. Only a tiny fringe talks Khalistan; the rest live in harmony.
‘Hind Di Chadar’ (The Shield of India)
Prayers on the Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (known as "Hind Di Chadar" for sacrificing his life to protect religious freedom of non Muslims in Mughal India)
Guru ji was beheaded in public at Chandni Chowk in 1675

From the Battlefield to a Cell, The Unspoken Pain of an Indian Soldier, 444 Days Without My Brother!
It’s been 1 year, 2 months, 17 days, 443 days in total, 10,632 hours, 637,920 minutes… since my brother, Major Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, was taken.
Since Maj Vikrant was 1st abducted, held incommunicado for eight long months, then kept in detention somewhere in the Middle East, my life has been a countdown of fear, hope & unbearable silence.
I am waiting to hear his voice, I am waiting to see his face, I dread what they have done to him.
I dread it because only I know who he was when he was whole, & I dread it because I know what he managed to communicate in that one final call…
A call made to the only number he could still remember.
A call carrying more pain than words.
A call carrying more truth than the world is ready to face.
I have more questions than answers, so much terror in every second that passes.
My brother suffers from many injuries from his line of duty.
He has given his youth, his strength, his mind, his life to Bharat.
He has lived & bled for the flag.
As Bharat rises as a global force, our soldiers & veterans are becoming easy targets abroad.
This is not just personal anymore, this pattern of picking up our soldiers & veterans abroad… is this now jeopardising our own National Security instead?
We must ask this question. We must demand answers. We must not turn away.
We need the same, decisive action that was taken in Qatar, I am putting my faith, my life & my hope in our government ..That they will safely bring their soldier back.
The same action that brought home our Naval veterans.
Our soldier deserves no less. No Indian soldier deserves less.
Bring our soldier back.
Do not let this momentum die.
Do not let a man who gave everything to this nation be abandoned in silence.
We must not forget our veterans, we must not let this happen to them, not now, not ever.
As my late father, Col VK Jaitly (SM), always said, “If you want to honour a soldier, be an Indian worth dying for.”
BHAI I HAVE LOST EVERYTHING FINDING YOU
I will NOT stop, I will NOT give up till he is back to the soil of his Bharat, the country he gave up all for!!
Kalika Mata Ki Jai
