I left my other phone at home and went to the bank to complain about a failed transaction they still haven't reversed. The experience at the bank was so frustrating that I was already in a bad mood when I got back home.
As soon as I checked my phone, I saw about 10 missed calls from an unfamiliar number. Before I could call back, the number called again.
I answered, and the woman on the other end was pleading. She said she had mistakenly loaded a ₦4,000 recharge card on my line and begged me to send it back because she had no other money.
I told her that was fine, but when I checked my phone, there was no airtime credit, no text message, nothing. In fact, my airtime balance was still showing ₦15.
So I called her back and politely told her I hadn't received any airtime and that she should double-check the number she used.
That was when everything changed.
The woman started crying and raining curses on me. Hmm, I was pissed and was about to reply when I remembered we were in the Lent season at my church. It was Day 27 of my fast.
"Oh God, help me. Help me before I enter this lady."
The next day, she called again. A friend suggested I just send her the ₦4,000 to make her stop disturbing me, but I refused. Why would I pay for something I never received? Am I plucking money from trees?
Two days later, she called again. This time, she wasn't angry. She apologized and admitted she had made a mistake.
I told her one thing:
"Look at the amount of recharge cards you've spent calling me every day. Only you know what your real intention was."
She replied, "My sister, no vex."
I ended the call.
The following morning, she called again.
"Madam, wetin?" I screamed over the phone.
She said, "Abeg forgive me. I feel guilty."
That was the moment I blocked her.
A slightly long read, but I implore your patience 🙏🏽
On this day, 3years ago, the lives of millions of Nigerians changed from bad to worse.
We lost counts of the death toll.
Many lost their source of livelihood from international companies leaving, to personal businesses folding due to alarming cost of operations and meager patronage.
Some families have been left forever traumatized from losing loved ones to kidnappers, and terrorists, even after selling everything they owned to pay ransom.
Education is at its lowest, as tuition tripled with deceit of the NELFUND loan shark of a government.
Electricity became an opportunity for classism, with fraudulent different bands. It became both unavailable and unaffordable.
‘Epileptic’ suddenly became less a word to describe our national grid.
Without proper prior preparations and notice, cost per litre of petrol spiked from N198/L to N500/L, and N1350/L today.
I know this stoic government are banking on our usual amnesia on Election Day in January, 2027, but please while considering your stomach, think of your children and grandchildren.
What will be left of Nigeria if we continue like this???
I was in the kitchen wanting to make something light for hubby,
Hubby came to the kitchen & and said he wanted to pray for me,
So he laid his hand on my chest and spoke in tongues.
Later, his hands were on my breast!!😅😂😂
"What are you doing?" I asked while I giggled🤭
"Can we finish the prayers in the bedroom? I'm in the spirit!" He responded while pointing towards his rod of moses.
I said; "be it unto me according to your word, O husband!"
That was how he carried me upstairs for morning service🤭🤭🤭
It was a beautiful 😍 prayer session in the bedroom.
The room was full of screams of joy & pleasure.
Honestly, in the presence of love in marriage, there's fullness of bedroom euphoria.
After morning service, I fell under the anointing because i was exhausted and trying to regain strength to walk properly. I rested for a while, then washed up. When I came out of the bathroom, hubby brought me some breakfast, then he went to spoonfeed the kids too.
I think i might ask for another prayer meeting this evening... it's not my fault. He made me love praying, and i want to be in the spirit at the hights pinnacle...🤭
Hallelujah somebody!!! 🙋♀️
Everyone is carrying a cross (Apologies to @Elkrosmediahub). And big, big crosses. Crosses that you will need all the help you can get from friends and well-wishers to lift. Even if it’s a listening ear, it helps.
Then your woman or man, will now come and add their own cross ontop the many crosses you are carrying on your small head.

“Being president doesn’t change the fortune of a tribe. The Igbos are the 6th richest tribe in the world. They’re also the 4th most travelled.
If the presidency truly changed a tribe’s fortune, other tribes that have held power would be more successful than the Igbos. No region in Nigeria is more developed than the Southeast — except states that once held the capital.”

The best way you can ever repay your parents is by giving them nothing to worry about when it comes to you. You’re not on drugs, you’re doing the right things, you’re living a healthy lifestyle, you’re taking care of your responsibilities. That’s the best thing you can do ever do for your parents.
You have to battle some of your demons in the dark. It is not everything you share with everybody. Some struggles should be between you, yourself, and your God.
Sometimes, a small behavior or attitude can completely change how someone sees you. A person who once respected you or found you attractive can suddenly feel the opposite. All that respect or attraction can disappear because of one careless thing you did, whether you meant it or not. That is why it is important to stay self-aware and carry yourself with a bit of class at all times.
Next time you are wondering why someone suddenly cut you off, take a moment to look inward, it might be something in your attitude or behavior.
