Truly it is ghoulish, but I can't help but to see some small poem, to know the machine will send such trite messages on your behalf, every year, perhaps forever, even though you're gone. Miss you friend.
How does @ClareMagneson (MFA '21) pull off this stunning feat of both hilarity and searing grief? "Honest Like a Bear Attack," her first published essay, debuts like a champ in @cnfonline. Don't be surprised if it makes you laugh-cry and cry-cry. https://t.co/L1jQw8VEOR
There's a phenomenon I actually see extremely commonly when literature is used to teach history to middle school and high school students. Let's call it "pajamafication."
@Egoborderline I recently asked my mom "Did you guys really name me after The Omen?" which I always thought. She said no, when my dad was like 8 he told his mom "I'm going to name my kid Damian" out of nowhere and stuck with it for 30 years. Which, honestly, I think is more ominous.
