None of the parenting books prepare you for the mindboggling incompetence of any organization your child is involved with.

There is no way to fix this without changing the current incentive structures on both sides. Faculty get destroyed on evals if they give accurate grades. Students are incentivized to care about grades above all else.

What we'd need to fix this is a total overhaul the system.

Future students will resent the current generation when we all cave in and go back to blue books, etc.

But maybe the joke's on today's chatbot cheaters because those future students will actually know a few things and how to do a few things and totally crush them in the workplace???? Wishful thinking maybe.
