In the past 24 hours Dubai basically failed the test of its own air force and air defense capabilities. A city that marketed itself as eternally peaceful and secure suddenly showed how fragile the Middle East really is and how poorly prepared it is for full scale war. This phase will end quick, but it's not the end of the war.

It's just the start of a new Middle Eastern era. Everyone will count damages and patch holes in defense, logistics, infrastructure, security. From a cold strategic view, Dubai got an F on this test but I bet behind closed doors some people are grading themselves much higher.
