Solana introduced token delegation in 2020, allowing you to approve transfers of a specific amount of tokens while keeping them in your own wallet.

what if you could buy and sell your bags without ever nuking the chart?

introducing https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

a peer-to-peer OTC desk for memecoins, allowing anyone to buy and sell their bags without touching the chart.

how it works:

→ connect your Solana wallet and create a bid or ask for any memecoin, choosing the amount and price you're willing to buy or sell at.

→ approve your offer using Solana's token delegation system. your funds remain in your wallet, with an allowance limited to the amount you've listed.

→ once accepted, the tokens and SOL are exchanged directly in a single atomic transaction. both transfers succeed together, or neither happens.

for sellers, this means exiting large positions without creating massive red candles. for buyers, it means accumulating bags without pushing the price higher with every purchase.

token delegation has existed for years, but no one has found a good use case for it. now anyone can use it to sell their bags without affecting the price for everyone else.

not sure what's causing all this negative price action, but i'm still here building.

currently finishing up the live OTC activity feed, which will let everyone track bids, asks, and completed trades across the platform in real time.

price action doesn't change what i'm trying to build here. i genuinely believe this is something the Solana ecosystem needs, and i'll keep building.

https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

[P2P @p2pventures]

creator fees generated by $P2P will be used to buy more $P2P from the open market and list it at discounted prices on https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

the goal is to give people an incentive to try the tech firsthand, experience how OTC trading works, and start listing their own bags.

the more people using the desk, the more useful it becomes for everyone.

[P2P @p2pventures]

All offers have been filled!

that was quick.

remember, this isn't limited to $P2P. you can list any memecoin on Solana, set your own price, and sell your bags without ever touching the chart.

i genuinely believe this is a missing piece the space has needed for years, yet very few have attempted to build something like it.

everything works through Solana's native token delegation system. your tokens stay in your wallet until a trade is executed, and we never take possession of your funds.

list your bags: https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

[P2P @p2pventures]

just listed some $P2P at discounted prices on https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

browse the offers, pick up some $P2P below market price, and experience how peer-to-peer OTC trading works firsthand.

the offers expire in 1 hour, so grab them while they're available.

https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

[P2P @p2pventures]

eventually, yes. the goal is to support OTC trading across all major chains, not just Solana.

as for audits, we're using Solana's native token delegation system. there are no custom smart contracts involved.

this means trades are facilitated using Solana's existing infrastructure rather than our own contracts, so there's no custom on-chain program to audit.

[xet @xet]

@p2pventures do you have any plans to audit the platform?

for those new here, please read:

i created https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl, a peer-to-peer OTC desk built specifically for memecoins, allowing anyone to buy and sell large bags without ever touching the chart.

if you've ever held a large position in a memecoin, you know how difficult it can be to sell without crashing the price. even selling a small percentage of your holdings can create massive red candles, and buying large amounts can push the price up before you've finished accumulating.

this is exactly what https://t.co/1kT4pVCDvs solves.

instead of swapping through liquidity pools, buyers and sellers can trade directly with each other at a price they both agree on.

and the best part? your tokens never have to leave your wallet until the trade actually happens.

how does it work?

Solana has a feature called token delegation, which allows you to give another wallet permission to transfer a specific amount of your tokens without actually sending those tokens anywhere.

think of it like giving someone permission to spend a certain amount of money from your account without giving them access to your entire balance.

https://t.co/1kT4pVCDvs uses this technology to make OTC trading possible without requiring you to deposit your tokens into an escrow wallet.

here's how a trade works:

→ connect your Solana wallet and create a bid or ask for any memecoin, choosing the amount and price you want.

→ approve a limited token delegation for your offer. your tokens remain in your wallet, and the permission is capped at the amount you've listed.

→ another user can browse your listing and accept it at the agreed price. you can also make private offers directly to holders of specific tokens.

→ once the trade is accepted, the tokens and SOL are exchanged in a single atomic transaction. both transfers happen together, or neither happens.

you can also partially fill offers, cancel listings, and set expiration times.

why does this matter?

imagine holding $100,000 worth of a memecoin with relatively little liquidity. selling through a DEX could cause enormous slippage and destroy the chart in the process.

with https://t.co/1kT4pVCDvs, you can find someone willing to buy that position directly, agree on a price, and exchange the entire bag without executing a single swap against the liquidity pool.

the same applies to buyers who want to accumulate large positions without pushing the chart higher.

if you're holding a bag you want to sell, or looking to accumulate a position without moving the market, give it a try.

if you run into any bugs while using https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl, please report them. feedback and suggestions are always appreciated too.

iterating in public, shipping improvements as people actually use the platform.

currently working on integrating a live OTC activity feed so you can see bids, asks, and completed trades across in real time.

[P2P @p2pventures]

i think people need to understand just how useful OTC trading can be for memecoins.

imagine holding a massive bag of a token, but selling even a fraction of it would completely destroy the chart.

with https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl, you can sell that entire position directly to another buyer at an agreed price, without touching the liquidity pool.

the same goes for buyers who want to accumulate large positions without pushing the price up.

this isn't just useful for whales. anyone holding a memecoin can benefit from being able to trade without affecting the market.

[P2P @p2pventures]

got a bag you've been wanting to sell but don't want to nuke the chart?

list it on https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl and let buyers come to you with offers.

or browse existing listings and pick up someone else's bag at a price you both agree on.

no slippage, no liquidity pools, just peer-to-peer trading.

give it a try: https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl

[P2P @p2pventures]

i'll be listing $P2P at discounted prices on https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl to incentivize people to try out the platform and see how OTC trading works firsthand.

try out the tech, list your bags, make offers, and see how easy it is to trade directly with another wallet without affecting the chart.

this is something the space has needed for years, yet nobody has managed to make it widely accessible.

it's time to change that.

[P2P @p2pventures]

for the non-technical people out there:

https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl lets you sell, yes SELL, your bags without EVER once touching the chart.

this is possible through token delegation, a feature on Solana that lets you give another wallet permission to transfer a specific amount of your tokens without actually sending them anywhere.

think of it like giving someone permission to spend a certain amount of money from your bank account, without giving them access to your entire balance.

when someone buys your bag, the tokens and SOL are exchanged in a single transaction at the price you both agreed on.

your tokens stay in your wallet until the trade happens, and since nothing is sold through a liquidity pool, your sale doesn't create a massive red candle.

no slippage, no nuking the chart, just two wallets trading directly.

[P2P @p2pventures]

if you don't know what token delegation is on Solana, read:

it lets you give another wallet permission to transfer a specific amount of your tokens without ever sending those tokens to them.

think of it like giving someone permission to spend a certain amount of money from your bank account, without giving them access to your entire balance.

you choose exactly how many tokens they can transfer, and you can revoke that permission whenever you want.

when you list a bag for sale on https://t.co/jERuQ9Ejvl, your tokens stay in your wallet until someone accepts your offer. the trade then happens in a single atomic transaction, exchanging your tokens for SOL at the agreed price.

no escrow, no liquidity pools, and no nuking the chart.

[P2P @p2pventures]

credit where credit is due.

@otc_bargains was the first to build something like this, but it looks like they've abandoned the project.

the idea is too good to let die, so we're picking up where they left off.
