@BrysonGray Maybe say it like "you can't claim Jesus as Lord in any sense if you don't obey him." He is Lord of all no matter if they believe, submit, love, or obey Him.
He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords regardless.
@5Solas No. Not only the entire second half of Revelation, where his eternal suffering is made clear, but also Hebrews 2. Jesus did not incarnate as an angel, demon, or any other being - He incarnated as a human and only humans are saved.
@DavidFischer Cut my teeth on the NASB, moved to the ESV for 15 years or so, then switched to the CSB when we decided to use it as our bible of choice at church.
I like the CSB, I just have everything memorized as ESV. :)
@MikeWingerii@DonniePetty@Bashkaai I heard something like this from @HwsEleutheroi a long time ago..."God can draw straight lines with crooked sticks, but that doesn't give us permission to use crooked sticks."
@travisgossman@MidwestRide@melton4iowa@TheDemocrats@GOP I wonder if he's also willing to say "one person, one vote" for everything else? If so, no more senate or congress. Everything goes to the public for a vote.
Our ENTIRE governmental structure is based on representation and NOT "one person, one vote".
@JordanMHatfield@ICHTHUS33@1984_nate Consistent Calvinists believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone. We also believe that God can work saving faith in any human at any stage of life - even in infants in wombs.
Election is not age based, and no elect human ever becomes unelect, babies included.
@jamestalarico You want Christian Nationalism too, just your version of it. You are even on record tying your beliefs to laws you support. Does your Christian Nationalism kill as well or are you being hyperbolic for likes?
@Pastor_Gabe@Mishi_2210 "A couple went on a picnic..."
2 people went on a picnic. The makeup of their family is extra information that is not pertinent to the problem space.
Trust me, in Calc 3xx and Physics 2xx and Con Sci 4xx, we had test questions like this all the time.
