Patients treated with #FlowTriever were found to have:
- Lower odds of in-hospital mortality
- Fewer readmissions at 30-days
- Substantially less adjunctive use of lytics

59 y/o female admitted to the ER with pain and swelling in her left leg. Dr.Abdulghani Saadi used #ClotTriever to remove #clot and restore flow. Pain and swelling subsided post-procedure and patient left the hospital the following day.

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Foley and the investigators for the ORBITA-COSMIC trial (PI @rallamee). The trial resulted in reduced angina frequency and improved heart disease related quality of life. And while the imaging endpoint showed no improvement in transmural myocardial perfusion, it did show improvement in subendocardial perfusion, supporting the theorized mechanism of action of the #ShockwaveReducer.

In a multicentre retrospective study comparing carotid artery stenting (CAS) and carotid endarterectomy (CEA) for treating carotid stenosis in both asymptomatic and symptomatic patients, no significant difference was observed in the composite outcomes of stroke, TIA, AMI, and death within 30 days post-intervention. This suggests that CAS, with recent advancements, offers a safety and efficacy profile comparable to CEA.
