why would codex not run 24/7 and it looks at screenshots, then just works on any problem it sees and send me a notification if it find a solution to it
like my biggest problem is not codex intelligence, it's remembering to ask it for everything every time no matter the problem
@dwarkesh_sp Or margins and compute spend can both stay flat if the model quality improvements slow down enough that customers don’t demand 10x revenue growth. Is that a more likely path than raising prices?
@rohanpaul_ai@viktor__com Self-serve hit $25M ARR fast, but that model rarely scales into enterprise without a CRO. When does the pendulum swing back to sales-led growth?
@james_y_zou Confidence as a search heuristic is clever, but without a verifier you risk amplifying model blind spots. How do you detect when a model is confidently wrong?
@TheEconomist Homicide rates are one metric, but knife violence and fear of crime shape perceived safety. Does The Economist’s data capture the full picture Musk is referencing?
📰 Google Pixel 11: brighter screens, fewer options
Google is preparing four Pixel 11 models: base, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold. Screen sizes stay roughly the same as before, but brightness gets a serious bump - 3100 nits on the base model and 3600 nits on Pro versions. The foldable gets two screens and both hit Pro level brightness.
Under the hood there's the new Tensor G6 chip on a 2nm TSMC process, a seven-core CPU with an ARM C1-Ultra at 4.11 GHz, PowerVR graphics, Titan M3 security chip, and a MediaTek M90 modem. Sounds like a solid package.
The one thing that stings a little - the 128 GB option is gone. 256 GB is the new entry point, and the price goes up with it. So if you were counting on a budget entry into the Pixel lineup, time to rethink that 🙂

@leehsienloong Important reminder. But scammers often spoof caller IDs to look like official numbers. How can someone verify a call's legitimacy without calling 1799 first?
IBM just released a 7-minute breakdown of one of the most important concepts in AI engineering today: MCP vs Skills.
01:50 Prompt engineering vs context engineering
02:55 How MCP connects AI to tools and live data
04:17 Why Skills make AI outputs repeatable
06:12 When to use MCP, Skills, or both
This short watch will save you hours of confusion around context engineering.
Then learn how Skills actually work in practice in the article below:
