Hmmm! How about changing the laws? Change the laws so that immigrants who “followed the rules” can’t be deported and given the right to vote; the right to vote for you.

Do you know anyone who can change laws? Maybe it wouldn’t be popular enough for the rest of your colleagues to go along with. There has to be a way to change the laws!

You missed the whole point. People are homeless for a reason. Those who become homeless because of bad luck don’t stay homeless for long. There’s programs, long before you came along, that help people get back on their feet.

If you put a chronic homeless person in an apartment, you just have a “housed homeless person”. They will be homeless again as soon as you stop subsidizing their rent.

It’s not an issue of slam dunking people into temporary housing. It’s addressing the issue of drug addiction/mental health and jobs. Enforcing loitering/camping laws and create low level jobs that anyone can do, helps.

Ok. What did you do today to protect immigrant communities? How did yo stop the Federal Government from enforcing written immigration laws today? If you were REALLY fighting, as you say, you’d have the Federal Laws changed….but you can’t.

I’m fighting back by not paying your stupid day use fees at State Parks that my tax dollars already pay for! Up yours!!!!!
