"German immigration significantly shaped Texas through two main waves: early individual migration in the 1830s and organized colonization in the 1840s–1850s. Friedrich Ernst’s 1832 letter popularized Texas in Germany, sparking a wave of settlers who formed the "German Belt" from the Coastal Plain to the Hill Country.
The Adelsverein (Society for the Protection of German Immigrants in Texas), founded in 1842 by German noblemen, organized the mass migration of approximately 7,000–10,000 Germans. Led by commissioners Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels and John O. Meusebach, the group established major settlements including New Braunfels and Fredericksburg. Meusebach notably negotiated the Meusebach–Comanche Treaty, the only unbroken treaty between European-American colonists and Native Americans.
German immigrants arrived primarily through Galveston and Indianola, bringing cultural influences such as kindergartens, beer brewing, and distinct architecture. By 1860, Germans constituted a significant portion of the state's population, with many settling in Central Texas and contributing to the region's agricultural and commercial development."
@AndyvenyMy@iAnonPatriot The boosters may have helped but his craziness started long before COVID. He has been banned from the Kennedy Compound because of that craziness.
I think it's going to be very narrow.
I think they will uphold the EO, but they will only restrict it to cases where both parents are absolutely deemed to be unlawfully present in the United States at the time of birth, meaning the end of birthright tourism, however not the end of birthright citizenship. 5-4 on that.
They will not spike the fourteenth amendment outright, but they will likely defer to historical precedent for cases where at least one parent has some form of legal status.
