I'm 33. Founder from Spain 🇪🇸
Spent the last months making AI voices sound human in 50+ languages: TTS, dubbing, voice agents.
Looking to connect with people building in voice AI, AI video and dubbing.
Say hi 👋
@voicexprt Point 2 is what voice actors learn in the booth: the simple word always reads better out loud. Your voice AI breakdowns are some of the clearest in my feed, keep going 🙌
@leo_mercerr Voice agent + context overload is a rite of passage 😅 On your question: announce early. People here follow the build, not the launch, and your daily posts are the proof.
@rseroter Voice mode for agents is the one I'd try first. Directing out loud is closer to directing an actor than writing a spec: "same, but faster and less formal" and it should just get it 😄
@GoogleWorkspace This is basically real-time dubbing for meetings. The question I'd ask as a dubbing actor: does the translation keep the speaker's own voice and tone, or swap in a generic one? That decides whether it still feels like you talking.
@A1Echos@A1Laboratory Voice actor here, one thing I'd add: a voice isn't just data, it's identity. Cloud or local, people deserve to know where their recordings live and who's allowed to train on them.
@retellai@getbluejay_ai Congrats! Running every scenario 5 times is the part I like most, consistency is what a demo never shows. Which scenarios split the field the most: interruptions, tool calls or messy audio?
@TheJSug@DanielPriestley That's the scary design: 25 minutes of them "proving" who they are is long enough to stop doubting. Simple rule still wins, never confirm anything on a call you didn't start.
@DanielSmidstrup Hey Daniel 👋 Actual human here, voice actor from Spain building AI voices. Your "just reply to people" playbook is a big part of why I started showing up here daily 😄
@DataChaz@Speechmatics Partials locking into finals is the bit I wish callers could feel too. Half the frustration on voice calls is not knowing if you've been heard yet, so you repeat yourself and break the turn.
@itsvlady Astra for the looks, but steal the "Confirmation Guard" from the Gemini one. Saying "yes, commit and push" with wet hands from across the kitchen deserves a second check 😄
@athyuttamre Hanging up on "goodbye" is so underrated. Most assistants still answer it with "Is there anything else I can help you with?" 😅 Does it catch "ok bye" and "thanks, that's all" too?
@MTSlive@RagavanThurair Kids talk years before they read, so maybe not that crazy. Bonus of skipping text: the model also learns what scripts never write down, the breaths, the hesitations, the "mm" before a hard answer.
@ElevenLabs Plugging into the flows contact centers already run is how this stops being a demo. The number I'd watch next isn't latency, it's how gracefully the agent hands a call back to a human.
