Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl
Congratulations to the Super Bowl champion @Seahawks! This defense was special. MVP Kenneth Walker was dominant. And Sam Darnold gave us one of the best comeback stories in a long time. Enjoy the celebration.
The world needs honest and courageous entrepreneurs and communicators who care for the common good. We sometimes hear the saying: “Business is business!” In reality, it is not so. No one is absorbed by an organization to the point of becoming a mere cog or a simple function. Nor can there be true humanism without a critical sense, without the courage to ask questions: "Where are we going? For whom and for what are we working? How are we making the world a better place?"
If we Christians and members of other religious traditions stand together, free from ideological and political conditioning, we can be effective in saying “no” to war and “yes” to peace, “no” to an economy that impoverishes people and the Earth and “yes” to integral development.
I urge you to continue your apostolate with joy and to be a sign of a love that embraces everyone, as the #GospelOfTheDay suggests. May we transform evil into goodness and build a fraternal world. Do not be afraid to take risks for love!
So many people spend their lives accumulating possessions, concerned only about their own wellbeing and not the good they can do. Yet, our life is empty when it is centred on our own needs and we blind ourselves to the needs of others! #WorldHomelessDay
The adoption of the Pact for the Future, the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations opens pathways to new possibilities and opportunities.
We have unlocked the door to #OurCommonFuture.
Now it is our common responsibility to walk through it.
Last night, the first satellite in our Cluster quartet safely came back down to Earth in a world-first ‘targeted reentry’.
The spacecraft, known as ‘Salsa’, reentered Earth’s atmosphere at 19:27 BST/20:47 CEST over a remote area of the South Pacific Ocean.
Not only has Cluster provided invaluable data on how the Sun interacts with Earth’s magnetic field for over two decades, its reentry marks a major milestone for sustainable space exploration.
Farewell, Salsa👋
