Johnny Manziel says he and Josh Gordon would sneak out of the team hotel at 5 a.m. on game days to smoke and play FIFA
"I would set an alarm if we had a game day at, like, noon or whatever it was. I would leave the team hotel at 5:00am. Me and JG [Josh Gordon] would walk from downtown Cleveland hotel we were at to my building."
"We would go to my building. We would turn FIFA on and we would rip the f*cking bong all morning and smoke a blunt."
"And he would go play some snaps or he would be suspended and wouldn't be playing, and I was the backup and I ain't never touched the field one time after doing that."
You sat out the Midterms to "teach Republicans a lesson". They didn't learn anything.
The year is now 2031, the 2030 Midterms just concluded and the GOP flipped three Senate seats! Here's the problem...Democrats won the Senate in 2026. They abolished the filibuster, as there was no Sinema or Manchin to protect it this time, and blocked all of Trump's judges. Then, in 2028, they rode a sluggish economy back to the White House.
President Ocasio-Cortez made it a point to instantly pack the Supreme Court to 17 justices, overturning Roe v. Wade, gutting the First and Second Amendments, and more.
There was also another border surge of 10-20 million illegal aliens. Legal immigration has been doubled under the Immigration Act of 2027, a comprehensive expansion of the 1990 Act. The US became majority nonwhite under the 2030 census.
Then, as the Senate was deemed "racist" and "rooted in White Supremacy", they decided to vote on adding states to the Union as "reparations for nonwhite non-representation". This gave 2 seats each to American Samoa, Guam, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Washington, DC (but NOT evil white supremacist Northern Mariana Islands, because they vote Republican). They also split up California into three states, citing "efficiency" reasons they refused to explain.
They also passed a "gerrymandering ban", which led to "independent commissions" creating inexplicably gerrymandered maps that included 3 blue seats in Kentucky, and 4 in Missouri. Not to mention only a single red seat in Illinois.
The Senate rushed through single payer healthcare, which caused a massive tax hike in exchange for subpar DMV-run healthcare that leads to shortages and wait times.
Then, they passed through a blanket amnesty for 60+ million illegal aliens and other foreign visaholders. While they still cannot legally vote until 2036, they will make up 25% of the electorate when they do.
Despite all that, much of the 'retard right' continues to call President Ocasio-Cortez "the most America First President in history" because she cut all foreign aid to Israel and arrested Benjamin Netanyahu (who is now cellmates with former President Donald Trump in Riker's Island). While patriots are routinely censored once again, these grifters are not for some reason.
Even if Republicans manage to win the 2032 presidential election in most key swing states, as some polls have them doing, it is unclear if they will be able to win it by enough to overcome the additional states in the electoral college. But even if they do, it is unclear at this point if a GOP victory would be certified. JD Vance has already been arrested, and Marco Rubio has been deported to Cuba for hate speech (the only deportation of her term since ICE was abolished in early 2027), leading many to speculate who the next man up in the GOP would be.
Guys, don't let this happen, because it will. Get the fuck out and vote.
From my understanding, Bo Melton is not a vested veteran because he only has two accrued seasons. To gain an accrued season, a player has to be on the active roster for more than six games in a single year—Melton appeared in just five in 2023. He'll go to waivers.
I don’t like this Narrative that the Packers moved on too late from Rodgers.
Rodgers earned the right to play for the Packers as long as he wanted. The front office did him no favors for YEARS.
Go look back at the offensive players on some of those Packers teams. He made miracles happen taking us as far as he did.
In an exclusive interview with Jason Wilde, Aaron Rodgers revealed that GM Brian Gutenkunst wanted him out of GB. He also said the way his departure was handled was horrible.
Shame on Gute for treating one of the best players in franchise history that way on his way out. Inexcusable.
The Commissioner's Exempt List is ridiculous. The league has had months to investigate what happened. Either suspend Josh Jacobs for a specific number of games or don't. This state of limbo is unfair. #Packers have no idea whether he'll be back in Week 2, Week 10, or not at all.
Just noticed this #NFL scheduling quirk that I didn't know could exist anymore ...
The #Raiders do not have a single Thursday night game, Monday night game, primetime game or international game. Every single game they play is on Sunday at 1pm EST or 4pm EST. I did not think that was possible anymore.
SOURCE: The Detroit Tigers have reached a pre-agreement with 12-year-old Kevin Sosa for a $4.0 million signing bonus, making him the youngest player in international baseball history to secure a deal of that magnitude.
Sosa is regarded as an elite talent with the tools and projection that would make him highly coveted by any of MLB’s 30 organizations. He already shows an advanced ability to handle fastballs in the 91-93 mph range.
Did you know Ontario once had a massive racetrack that attracted some of the biggest racing events and crowds in California? 🏎 🏁
Ontario Motor Speedway also known as the “Big O” was a motorsports venue located in Ontario. It was the first and only automobile racing facility designed to accommodate major races sanctioned by four major racing organizations including NASCAR, the United States Auto Club, the National Hot Rod Association and Formula One.
The $25.5 million track modeled after Indianapolis Motor Speedway opened in August 1970 and was considered state of the art at the time. The facility featured a 2.5 mile oval track, a 3.2 mile infield road course and a quarter mile drag strip to accommodate a variety of racing events.
The Speedway’s “Big O” electronic sign could be seen from the then incomplete Interstate 10 and Interstate 15 interchange. The inaugural California 500 Indy car race took place on Sept. 6, 1970 and drew more than 170,000 attendees. Jim McElreath won the race after passing Art Pollard on the final lap. California Gov. Ronald Reagan presented the winner’s trophy.
Beyond auto racing, the Speedway hosted a variety of events and concerts. In 1971 Ontario Motor Speedway staged motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel’s record jump over 19 cars before a crowd of 50,000. In 1974, the Speedway hosted California Jam, a rock festival that drew an estimated 300,000 to 400,000 people and was considered the largest paid attendance for a rock concert at the time. Portions of the concert were televised nationally.
Amid financial struggle, the Ontario Motor Speedway was purchased for real estate development. The facility was demolished in 1981.
Subsequent development such as housing, retail stores and the Citizens Business Bank Arena (now Toyota Arena) has largely covered the old racetrack grounds.
Echoes of the Ontario Motor Speedway can be found in racing inspired street names around the old racetrack such as Concours Street, Corvette Drive, Porsche Way, Mercedes Lane and Ferrari Lane. There's also the Ontario Motor Speedway Park.
Who loves near there?
@JimMaisano Many college towns have nothing else to do but watch the team play no matter how hot , many things to do in California not much anywhere else. Easy to bash when you dont live out there, I split time in California and Tennessee trust me I know what I am talking about
The @wnba has a major legal problem. They already allowed a player who identified as a man to play in the league for years. They celebrated it publicly. So how can they keep @EnesFreedom & @Highway_30 out now. Read & share this: https://t.co/snCpxHxhvp
Some previous cases of players charged with domestic battery and their suspension lengths, I’d expect it to be similar
2024 had Zay Jones get 5 games for the same thing and Alaric Jackson got 2 games for the same thing and going back to 2023, Alvin Kamara got 3 games for battery
If this is what the video actually shows, the Packers should cut Josh Jacobs.
It's that simple.
It sucks for the football side of things, but this is bigger than football.
