Kicker for the West Team at the @ShrineBowl from Florida, Trey Smack took some time with us.
How does he handle the big pressure moments as a kicker???

"We ruled the play was over."
But if Wyatt lets St. Brown go, and he scores, when they review it and rule he indeed wasn't down, the score stands.
"Football players playing football. The defense wouldn't let the offense score. 15 yard penalty and automatic first down."
This crew should never be allowed to officiate a football game at any level ever again.
FOX National Game of the Week and unfortunately more than a few controversial and questionable calls involved in it. Kind of rare to hear the rules analyst on the broadcast openly disagree with several rulings and adjudications, but to his credit, Dean Blandino did. Just was not an NFL Caliber Officiating Performance in my opinion. This crew has consistently been underwhelming in my opinion.
In my 19 years covering the Packers on a daily basis, I've never written a blame-the-refs story. Yeah, I get it, the Packers beat themselves, too, but what happened at Ford Field was unaccepable, an embarrassment and, to quote Xavier McKinney, bullshit. ⬇️

8 roughing the passer calls against the Packers (28 other teams have 3 or less)
0 roughing the passer calls on hits to Jordan Love (the most hit QB in the NFL)
The Packers got a stop on the Lions 22 with 4:50 remaining in the game and proceeded to produce a putrid three play sequence including a dropped TD and then had a 35 yard FG attempt blocked. That sequence is where a good team would have overcome the officiating.
@twoyrsaway@CalebFC18 This brother said Burden on pace for 1,192 yards and 5 TDs 😂😂😂 OPOY!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Watson on pace for 1,524 yards 17 TDs 🤣🤣🤣
Golden on pace for 1,340 yards and 8 TDs 🤣🤣🤣
@SleeperPackers Them: "Hey Gute, can we say the Packers are interested?"
Gute: "Sure. We aren't going to give up the assets needed to acquire Taylor, but we sure are interested in the idea of getting a guy like that."
Them: "BREAKING: Packers among teams interested in Taylor."

Slightly disagree with my guy @avgcheesepod.
The Packers have shown some ability to stop the run.
- Held Vikings to 3.1 ypc
- Held the Jets to 2.5 ypc
- Bad day against the Falcons
- Held Bucky Irving to 3.8 ypc (Irving ran for 7.9 ypc against the Cowboys the following week)
- Held the Bears to 3.4 ypc (league's best rushing attack)
- Held the Cowboys to 3.2 ypc
If they hold Gibbs below 4 ypc, the Packers run away with this one.
@NflOutdated@nflnetwork@espn Unfortunately they already have Adam Rank.
There's not room for another insufferable Bears troll on the national networks.
