@laurathejourno @tim_woods77 @iPaperTravel Correction - you absolutely can 'just pitch up' in Scotland, and we're pretty proud of that.

I think this idea could be a step towards better land-use rights in England/Wales, but it certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

It is also in no way 'wild camping'.

On Friday, we were thrilled to see @EACarers' voyage take centre stage on @BBCCiN Scotland!

Following the group’s five-day voyage aboard Alba Explorer, this feature was a great opportunity for the young people to tell their stories (and to highlight the power of youth work!)

Wetlands don’t care which direction the rain comes from ⚠️

They act as natural sponges and absorb excess rainwater, releasing it slowly rater than flooding.

We need more of these habitats to protect our communities from flood damage.

The #SycamoreGap tree has been felled overnight in what looks to be an act of vandalism.

We know from all the photos you've shared with us over the years just how loved this tree was by everyone who walked #HadriansWall 💔

We are shocked and desperately saddened to learn that the famous Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall has been felled overnight, in what appears to be an act of vandalism.

We know just how much this iconic tree is loved locally, nationally and by everyone who has visited.

We are working with our partners to understand what has happened and what can be done.

The incident has also been reported to the police.
