It's the London Marathon this weekend.
The modern Marathon is 26 Miles and 385 yards long. The story goes that the extra 385 yards were added at the 1908 Olympics so it could start on the lawn at Windsor Castle and finish at the royal box in the Olympic Stadium.
Having choice and control over what your work and retirement journey looks like makes a huge difference. Being able to go at your own pace and choose your own route also helps. And having training and support you need along the way means more of us will get where we want to.

Another trend is four-day work weeks: share of job postings mentioning such arrangements rising, though at 0.8% remains niche phenomenon. Highest prevalence (1%) among the least remote-friendly occupations (including healthcare, childcare, manufacturing and food service).
