@weskrantz I’ve loved following your families feline and human on Twitter but now the block feature is going, I’m quitting the space. Thanks for contributing to joy in 2023. I can’t believe Finn is not even a year old yet. Hoping Imogen might still copy Mia’s walking stylishly in harness…
There's no "right way" to react to the uptick. It’s key to weigh your risk factors for a severe case (age, co-morbidities, vax status) & for Long Covid (same, plus women>men), along with your risk tolerance and how onerous you find “careful” to be. (7/25)

@TracyWesterman I’m voting Yes in this referendum.
I disagree with Mundine and Price simply because Gina Rinehart pays them to say no. They don’t believe what they’re saying. They accepted money and prestige from her and she’ll drop them like hot potatoes once she gets what she wants.
More than disappointing to see Labor and the Coalition voting together to block the release of the Office of National Intelligence report into climate risks. Blocking release of the report doesn’t make the risk go away 🤯
Let's face it. They turn up expecting every entitlement. We give them free accommodation and subsidised food. Some even commit crimes while we fund them! They may pretend to integrate with us, but really they hate our culture and our laws.
Put these Tory ministers on a barge.
This is truly appalling. While Dutton opines about improving the living standards on indigenous communities he stole money from them that was earmarked for crime prevention and used it to build bowling greens in @liberalaus electorates. He is utter scum. #auspol#VoteYes
@thatcher_mr@PatrickFConlon2 Perhaps the Voice will help the targeting of the $30 billion to the best options. Perhaps there will be fewer middlemen getting money that should be spent on the ground.
@NoelTay50987876@DrVicFielding The point is to get the Voice into the Constitution. An incoming government may toy with it, but they will need another referendum to nuke it permanently. No repeats of Howard style abolition of ATSIC whenever it suits the Coalition Racketeers.
@belindasmilne Correct. It’s the permanency of a constitutionally enshrined Voice which they really oppose. They speak out of both sides of their mouth claiming to want a Voice legislated, but only so they can cancel it at their own whim. It’s deeply cynical.
@DrVicFielding It is more powerful in that it can’t be repealed or abolished, without another referendum. That’s why they hate it.
If the LNP really were for a legislated voice, they could have already legislated for one,in the 9 years they were in government
@FogsRaven@DrVicFielding Well played Mr Dutton, in the quiet time over the summer holidays, he pretended he was genuinely considering whether the LNP would support the referendum or not. At least the Nats were honest and immediately said “No”. But what a shameful, treacherous legacy he leaves.
@BringBackMonkey @Peter_Fitz The crowds for the WWC are everybody you might imagine. People with links to another country, families, couples of all ages, grumpy old men and groups of young people, mixed, male or female. Lots of groups of young men. My advice is go to see any match you can get tickets for.
@ChrisMinnsMP Good job! Metro badly needs it too. It's such a con job to need to pay as much as we do when we visit the hospital. The concept of staff needing to pay for parking at the hospital in any place at any time, is mind blowing to me. We really need to address that. But good job!
@grumpyoldfool62 Forget remedial lessons for men who are violent against women. It’s time to tattoo their foreheads and monitor them with ankle bracelets and microchipping. These scoundrels go on to victim after victim. Let’s make it harder for them to do so.
