@criticalstressy@Dannythefink Sample size of 1 but I'd agree with 90% of it.. it's not Cummings' own view. There are no good options to vote for as the notional swing voter. I will never vote Reform and I dislike everything they stand for.
@runliftrunlift I’ve felt weak during a half marathon and a gel fixes it. I think if you fuel perfectly beforehand it’s fine but taking gels doesn’t cost anything other than money and i take one at an hour just to remove any issues. If you’re running around an hour then not needed..
@Dr_BellaR @RoyalMail Same experience. I groan when I see that an online order is coming by Royal Mail. Amazon never fails to deliver, or at least within a day
@FraserNelson income isn’t wealth. as a ~1% income tax payer I am far far away from the top 1% in terms of wealth. Misconception in other replies that top 1% income is rich enough to structure around tax.. vast majority are still employees. Maybe top 0.1%
@medicinexthings Think doing long periods at high intensity has high injury risk. Accepted practice is 1 high intensity (intervals), 1 tempo (so around 10km-half m pace) and 1 long run. With other sessions being easy runs. If you’re limited on time can just keep the long run to an hour i guess
@Ermengrabby@eyeslasho@MillieOfferman@KamalaHarris I think upper class entails some level of wealth that will never be bridged by being an employee but that might be a British perspective. (I work in big law but I will never be upper class and neither will my kids)
@MartinShkreli I think you’re probably right that he wouldn’t default and let the lenders take the keys. I guess most debt investors aren’t allowed to invest based on predicting what the sponsor will do though, if the fundamentals/financials are fucked. Bloomberg says there’s some kind of deal
@bryan_johnson I value my sleep a lot but I also need to gain/maintain weight. How is it possible to get sufficient calorie intake having last meal at 11am? I eat every 2-3 hours typically
