I'm bummed out about President Biden stepping aside, but excited about electing our FIRST woman President of the United States.
Let's go, Kamala Harris!!! 🙏💪
Begging fellow Democrats to stop using Joe Biden’s primary vote total as an argument for him staying in this campaign, when polls show that an overwhelmingly majority of those primary voters now want a new nominee. This important debate isn’t benefited by disingenuousness.
Harris is far more articulate and succinct than Biden, as she demonstrated in dissecting the Trump agenda during an appearance in North Carolina on Thursday. In the same vein, the vice president has been a passionate and compelling advocate for reproductive freedom (a topic Biden seems uncomfortable discussing), evidenced in dozens of her speeches and public appearances. She wields her experience as a prosecutor who handled sex crimes to excoriate forced-birth advocates for telling rape and incest victims they “have no right or authority to decide what happens" to their bodies. (She says flatly: “That’s immoral.”)

@GeorgeTakei Big donors didn’t put us here. Biden put us here when HE DECIDED to run again after he promised us he was going to pass the torch in 2020.
Senator Joe Manchin calls on President Biden to drop out of the race:
“I came to the decision with a heavy heart that it’s time to pass the torch to a new generation” and that President Biden should step aside”
New poll: “We find that voters, especially Democrats, support Biden stepping aside, viewing it as a selfless act of patriotism. Two thirds of voters, and three quarters of Democrats, report that this decision would enhance Biden’s legacy.” https://t.co/4PMz1sDf41
“Every minute that goes by that is spent fretting over Joe Biden’s emotional state rather than how to move forward with a candidate who is able to defeat Donald Trump is a betrayal of everyone who came together in 2020 to make his presidency happen.” https://t.co/R0Y0yBPSjz
