I understand that the lower price in India is a reason why some companies put inferior ingredients, but sometimes its also because large companies simply do not care enough about the health of Indians. They know that they can easily get away with our regulations.

As a country, we need to strengthen our regulations and large companies should also not differentiate between India and other countries when it comes to quality.
