Ron Paul was booed at the Republican debate for saying Iran didn't have a weapon (they didn't).

Then he made one of my all time favorite debate moments:  

"If they're so determined to go to war, the only thing I plead with you for if this is the case, is do it properly. Ask the people and ask the Congress for a declaration of war. This is war! People are gonna die and you gotta get a declaration of war!"

Oh no, the poor hasbara machine is sputtering.

Former Israeli PM Naftali Bennett just admitted the quiet part out loud: “We have lost the United States. We have lost the world.” Israel’s standing? Lowest since 1948. Tragic. Truly heartbreaking.

So what’s the solution? Create a brand-new “Unit 8300” under the Prime Minister’s Office to wage war on… global public consciousness. Because clearly the problem isn’t the livestreamed destruction of Gaza, the mass graves, the starving children, or the endless settlements. No. The real enemy is Qatar, Iran, and anyone who refuses to keep swallowing the official script.

Nothing says “moral high ground” like launching a dedicated psychological operations unit to gaslight the entire planet after the planet finally stopped buying the product.

Congrats on the lowest approval rating in history. Maybe next time try not committing the acts that made the world look away in the first place.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran raised the stakes: lift the blockade or face a wider war.

Washington has stepped back from immediate military action, the new approach is a drawn-out campaign of sanctions and blockades designed to slowly choke Tehran’s economy and strategic room to move.

Iran is not waiting, they're using the pause to restructure its military command, expand missile and drone production, strengthen counterintelligence, and keep its regional network ready for escalation.

14 ship attacks were reported in August, and none drew a U.S. response. Regional allies are already asking whether that restraint is being interpreted as permission, and whether it could encourage Tehran to push harder in the Strait of Hormuz.

The strategic dilemma is sharp: Keep waiting, and the pressure may eventually grind Iran down.

But wait for too long, and Tehran gains the time to rebuild, choose the moment, and decide where the next confrontation starts.

Analyst Muhammad Hassan Sanges put the thinking inside Iran this way: “There is also a widespread view in Iran that the main war has not yet begun.”

Trump put one blockade on Iran and their entire economy is collapsing.

Iran demanded that America pay them compensation. Trump turned it around and said America should be paid instead, for the USS Cole and for the people Iran has killed.

Their only real card was the Strait of Hormuz. They control the water, the world's oil moves through it, and holding it hostage pushes prices up on everybody.

Then the Navy answered. Trump calls it a Wall of Steel. Carriers, destroyers, and Marines boarding any vessel that does not comply. CENTCOM has redirected 55 commercial ships, disabled 2 and boarded 2. Nothing goes into Iranian ports. Everyone else sails.

Here is the part nobody says out loud. 89% of the oil that moves through that strait goes to Asia. Only 2% of what America actually uses comes through there. The squeeze lands on them, not on us.

Meanwhile their inflation is the worst it has been since 1942 and their economy is shrinking. They got so desperate they moved into stablecoins to protect their money, and America froze that too.

It is a game of chicken where the car they are driving is up against a tank.

And the crazy part is the stock market just hit an all time high and Bitcoin has not moved.

The Houthis have struck 2 Saudi tankers in the Red Sea as part of their promised blockade. And it’s only Wednesday.

Yemen’s Houthis announce that they have struck two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, ENCELIA and LAYLA, with multiple ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, causing massive fires on both, and declare the Bab El-Mandeb fully closed to all Saudi tankers, per Houthi spokesman Yahya Sareea.

Nearly 10 additional ships were forced to abandon their routes and return, with the Houthis reaffirming the "blockade in exchange for blockade" equation and continuation of naval operations against Saudi Arabia.

The Yemeni Armed Forces warn any attack against Yemen will be met with "extensive operations deep inside Saudi territory," including oil refineries.

A Saudi ship that violated Sanaa's maritime navigation ban decision is seen on fire following strikes from Yemen.
