The Intellectual Bankruptcy of Modern Celtic and Germanic Paganism, and It's Still Intellectually Contingent Upon Christianity.
---
You hate Christianity with such passion. You despise its morals, its history, its saints. Yet the very intellect you use to attack it was given to you by it.
Let me explain this to you slowly. Let me break it down point by point, argument by argument, until you understand the depth of your intellectual contingency.
---
Pre-Christian Celtic and Germanic Intellect Was Nonexistent
Before Christianity, your ancestors had nothing. No written philosophy. No systematic theology. No mathematical traditions. No coherent cosmology. No ethics beyond tribal custom. No metaphysics. No logic. No science.
The druids were priests, not philosophers. They performed rituals, not arguments. They memorized oral traditions, not written texts. They observed the stars but left no astronomical treatises. They built mounds but left no mathematical theorems. They were craftsmen, not thinkers.
The Coligny calendar is a practical device for tracking time, not a philosophical system. Stonehenge is an architectural achievement, not a scientific theory. Celtic art is beautiful, but it is not intellectual.
The Germanic peoples were even less advanced. They had no cities, no architecture beyond wooden halls, no writing before the runes which were derived from the Latin alphabet. Their gods were forces of nature, not philosophical principles. Their myths were battle epics, not theological treatises. They had no concept of transcendence, no theory of being, no ethics beyond honor and revenge.
You were primitive. You were intellectually barren. You were nothing.

Christianity Gave You Everything
Christianity came. And Christianity gave you everything.
The Catholic Church preserved Greek philosophy when the Eastern Roman Empire fell. The Church founded the first universities in Europe. The Church taught Celts and Germanics the philosophy of Aristotle, the mathematics of Euclid, the astronomy of Ptolemy.
St. Illtud founded the first school in Britain around 500 AD, the 'school of Illtud'. He taught Celts Latin, Greek, and Christian theology. His students founded monasteries across Wales and Ireland. He was a Christian. He brought you philosophy.
Albertus Magnus, a German, introduced Aristotle to Western Europe. He was a Christian. He brought you philosophy.
The University of Bologna was founded by Christian clergy in 1088. The University of Oxford was founded by Christian clergy. The University of Paris was founded by Christian clergy. Your first universities were Christian institutions. You received everything from them.
Without Christianity, you would have no universities. No written philosophy. No mathematics beyond the abacus. No systematic theology. No astronomy beyond the calendar. No metaphysics. No ethics. No logic. No science.
Christianity gave you the ability to think. Christianity gave you the language to reason. Christianity gave you the concepts to understand the world. And you repay this with hatred.

Eriugena—The Celtic Traitor to Celtic Paganism
You claim John Scotus Eriugena as the greatest, first, and most intelligent Celtic philosopher. Yet he was educated by a Greek monk in Dublin, not by druids. He left his Gaelic parents to serve the Carolingian court. His grandmother left paganism before him. Eriugena spoke Greek more fluently than Gaelic he translated Greek texts into Latin. He despised druidic culture as superstition. He rejected his pagan heritage.
Eriugena was Irish in the way Steve Jobs was Syrian, ethnically one thing, culturally something else entirely. He was a Christian who believed Christian theology was superior to druidism. He wrote his greatest works in Latin, not Gaelic. He would not have understood a modern 'Celtic pagan' and would have condemned it. He was Christian first, Greek second, and Irish only by blood.

@Hasmir33@TheSylvar You're fucking dumb, not only did you make an affirmation of something without a source, but you also are somehow bringing up contradictory madness
@DackHasker@MulaMule300 You can't address his argument, so the best thing you can do is commit a fallacy and project.
This is why Pagans and Atheists will always lose to Christianity regardless.
The fact that 10-15% of fellow Palestinians on this app I stumble across are Pro-Pagan, anti-Abrahamic Goyslop Canaanite Pagans is ridiculous. They're primitive and fuck the Ancient Deities and Beliefs of my Ancient Ancestors
As a Palestinian-Armenian, I declare fully: CHRIST IS KING!!!
Fuck Baal. Fuck Asherah. Fuck Anat. Fuck Mot. Fuck Yam. Fuck Astarte. Fuck Milcom. Fuck Chemosh. Fuck Dagon. Fuck Molech. Fuck Resheph. Fuck Kothar-wa-Khasis. Fuck Shapash. Fuck Yarikh. Fuck all Ancient Philistinian Goyslop Canaanite demons and desert spirits!
My Canaanite ancestors worshipped stones and called them gods. They sacrificed children to Molech. They fornicated in the groves of Asherah. They were blind, stupid, and damned. Then Christ came. Then the true God revealed Himself. And my people, we chose the light/the truth/the way.
Canaanite paganism is dead. Good riddance. It belongs in the gutter of history where it can rot with Baal and his impotent thunder.
Oh Palestinian Canaanite Pagans don't come to me with your 'ancient Canaanite heritage.' My heritage is the blood of the martyrs and the crown of Christ.
Yella yella, Palestinian pagans. Your gods are dust. My God is risen.
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
CHRIST IS KING!
Gregory Palamas the Orthodox saint who defended Hesychast spirituality against rationalist attacks by others. His core is that God's essence (super-essence/superessential) is utterly unknowable and inaccessible, yet His energies divine operations like grace, light, and providence are uncreated and fully divine, and we can truly participate in them without comprehending the essence itself. This is how Gregory preserves divine simplicity while making real communion with God possible. Palamas answered pagan and atheist objections by showing that God is not a remote abstraction but a living reality who acts in creation, knowable through His energies, yet eternally in superessential essence he's beyond all conceived categories, affirmation and negation. His theology refutes both pagan immanentism (which traps God in nature) and atheistic deism (which removes God from the world).
@MulaMule300@howlinghowler_@ChristophICXC
@MulaMule300@ChristwilSaveU Exactly we identified this.
In the Peshitta the term Judean is consistently geographic that even a Greek Pagan could fall within the term Judean.
"saar!!! I can't read!!!" Least retarded paygay.
The chief priests themselves before Christianity reached Germanic Peoples objected "لا تكتب ملك اليهود" "Do not write 'King of the Jews'" proving that Christ is no king of the Jews. You're inventing fantasy translations because you can't handle what the text actually says. Read the oldest Near Eastern Christian text in its original language before embarrassing yourself with this ahistorical cope. Your argument is dead.
Besides that you absolute fool. The Peshitta/the Aramaic Testament, the language Jesus actually spoke does not use "Jews." It uses Iehudaye (ܝܗܘܕܝܐ), which means Judeans inhabitants of Judea, not followers of Judaism.
John 19:19 in the Peshitta: "HANA MALKA D'IEHUDIYA" "This is the King of the Judeans". Not Jews. Judeans.
The distinction is critical. "Jew" (Yehudi) in Aramaic is a religious and ethnic identifier. "Judean" (Yehudaya) is a geographic identifier someone from the region of Judea. The chief priests objected not to the term "Judean" but to the claim of kingship over their region. The Peshitta consistently uses Yehudaye for inhabitants of Judea, not for the Jewish people as a whole.
Judeans are a subset of Pharisees, not synonymous. You've been reading a mistranslation for 500 years. The Peshitta. the oldest Testament, proves it.
The distinction between Yehudaye (ܝܗܘܕܝܐ) and Yehudi is not semantic fantasy, it's Aramaic lexicography 101.
Here is the proof, outside the Bible, from Aramaic lexicons:
1. The Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon (CAL) the foremost academic dictionary of Aramaic defines Iehwdye as: "1 Judaean". Distinct from Yiahud (Jew) The entry explicitly lists both meanings, acknowledging the term's dual usage. In Syriac (the dialect of the Peshitta), it varies among ܝܗܘܕܝ, ܐܝܗܘܕ and ܝܘܕܝ.
2. Strong's Hebrew Lexicon (H3062) defines (Yehudain) as: "(Aramaic) patrial from Yhuwd; a Jehudaite, i.e. geographical Jew, someone living in Judea". A patrial is a demonym a word indicating geographic origin, not religious identity. The NASB translates it as "Jews, Judah". The NET Bible explicitly renders it as "Judean" in their translation.
3. The distinction is geographic vs. ethnic. In Imperial Aramaic documents from the 5th century BCE (Elephantine papyri), the Judean garrison referred to themselves as the ḥeila yehudaya literally "Judean garrison". This is a geographic identifier, they were from Iehudaye, the province. So even a Greek or Syrian could be fallen within the term of Iehudaye.
4. In the Aramaic sections of Daniel and Ezra, yehudaye occurs ten times and yehud seven times. In Daniel, the yehudaye are from the province of Babylon, accused by "Chaldeans". Daniel is introduced as an "exile from Judea" gebar min-bene galuta di iehudaye. The term is consistently geographic.
Conclusion: In Aramaic, Yehudaye = Judean (geographic, someone from Judea of any ethnicity). Yehudi = Jew (ethnic/religious, someone of the tribe of Judah or follower of Judaism). The Peshitta uses Iehudaye consistently geographically. The KJV mistranslated it as "Jews." The Peshitta is older. The Peshitta is correct. You are wrong.
You claim ethnicity doesn't equal location, yet you mock a Palestinian for living where he was born? Your ancestors chose to live in a "backwater shithole" too like Poland as it was before. No one chooses their birthplace, you illiterate fool. You can't even read Boethius, the Christian philosopher who systematized the very logic and music theory your pagan ancestors lacked. Your entire "Slavic pagan" revival is a LARP, a romantic fantasy invented by 19th-century nationalists. You have zero continuity with pre-Christian Poland, your ancestors were baptized in 966 and never looked back. You're a confused child playing dress-up, mocking people whose civilization gave the world alphabet, law, and mathematics while yours gave nothing but "slav" the root of your own ethnic name for slave.
You mock Palestine by showing a brown man, yet I am probably more white-looking than you. Your skin, your features, what makes you think you're some pure Nordic Aryan? You're a Slav. You were never considered white by Western Europeans until the 20th Century. Syrians and Palestinians in America were considered to be White before the Poles were.
And you declared an anime girl your wife. You are a lonely, pathetic LARPer who has never touched a real woman. Your "Slavic pagan" revival is a joke, your ancestors were baptized in 966, and they never looked back because of how primitive it was in truth. You're not pagan. You're a cringe cosplayer who can't even get a real girlfriend let alone wife. Dumb pagan.

@ulfcytel Strongest Platonic Philosophy Enjoyer was already one of the Most Strongest Men in History whereas no Eddic fan holds such a high position. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm Orthodox not Catholic also you say you've been accused of being Christ, and that's why you stopped believing. Yet you still judge Christianity by its worst adherents and your own bruised ego. "Deity worship can be really cancerous," you say, but you don't seem to realize the irony.
As for the Pope, he is not the Church. Eastern European Catholics, who actually carry the faith, hold deeply negative views of Francis and the current Leo. Many see him as a betrayal of tradition.
Pope Leo XIII warned of this in his 1884 encyclical Humanum Genus. He divided humanity into two camps: the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. He explicitly condemned the Freemasons for plotting to "utterly despoil the nations of Christendom" of its blessings. He foresaw that "fake Catholics" and Freemasons would hijack the papacy to preach this diversity and woke madness which the Church opposed for centuries.
The Church in Rome isn't the problem. The problem is the same forces Leo XIII warned about they've infiltrated and are now weaponizing "suicidal empathy" against the West. Your slums are filled because the elites willed it, not because Catholics wanted it. Your anger is aimed at the wrong target.
@jibriltheracist Ethnicity ≠ Location. Besides that what have Slavic Pagans ever contributed? Literally you're soo primitive that the Romans had to make the term slave out of your retarded ethnicity.
They did plenty of bad things.

Btw don't get offended if you're a Greek Polytheist. I have nothing against you. What I have is mainly against my Ancient Canaanite Ancestors, Druids, and some Asatrus.
