@cassieap55 @quirkstine @oOISSYOo @seohaseurri22 Avocados need to be eaten when they are perfectly ripe which is a very short window. Too soon = hard, waxy, too late = mushy yucky. Perfectly ripe = creamy buttery. Mashed on toasted sourdough, w/ sprinkle of course salt, Aleppo pepper, olive oil, lemon. Manna!

Visited the St. Anne’s Limehouse Church to tour a friend’s photography exhibition. A lovely grand church in the process of renovation.

@alexeKorea Oddly, it was not a special occasion. Some friends of a mutual friend were visiting and had reservations at this iconic restaurant. I’m not completely sure what their background is but the VIP treatment was very different from the other guests. They were lovely people though.

Dinner with a view. Literally and figuratively having dinner with friends in high places. The VIP treatment was over the top. Private kitchen and wine cellar by owner, Chef greets and serves twice. The additional amuse bouches and courses. 🍾 🍷🫒 🍢🥘🫔🍧Decadent.

@anniedelavoye It’s like hayashi rice (ハヤシライス ) for me. It’s not the beef. When made with mushrooms and the sauce, it’s sublime.

@oOISSYOo @MariDoz @cassieap55 I’m allergic to certain types of sunscreen. The only brand that doesn’t cause itchy eyes and skin is Biore Japan SPF 50 or other Japanese brands. It’s also lightweight and does not feel greasy like some Western brands.
