In one occasion, Kathryn Kuhlman was preaching in a church and someone informed the pastor that she was divorced which led the pastor walking up to the front and grabbing the microphone from her and apologizing to the crowd for having a “false prophet” preaching, she was escorted by the ushers out of the church and ran off town. SHE WEPT!

On a rare occasion where Kathryn would address her past she made this comment about her peers during her crisis. “... You know sometimes it’s a thousand times easier to die physically than to keep on living. You see, the Lord forgives, but people don’t.

They’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in. And they’ll pierce your heart, and they’ll pierce it clear through.

Kathryn Kuhlman Died! This was her popular phrase, she would go on to say, it was the price she paid for the glory.

Kathryn remembers vividly the days she died to and carried Gods glory.
It’s much easier to die than to live, death to the flesh and the opinions of this world, that very day at the end of that dead-end street is when I died at four, on a Saturday afternoon.
Today, I feel it was part of God’s perfect will for my life.”

For Kathryn Kuhlman, Her greatest anointing began to manifest from 49-59 years.
In those days, she walked past people and they collapsed to the floor because of the heavy presence of the Holyspirit she carried. Healings and strange miracles, never before recorded accompanied her ministry till death.
Even through Kathryn Kuhlman was out of public ministry for almost 8 years, When she hit the platform again, the glory of the latter house surpassed the former.
Suddenly all the churches that attacked her because of her divorce, opened their arms wide like they weren’t the ones that almost drove her into suicide.
The anointing was always there. All it needed was activation and constant use. God’s grace is irreversible. He does not change His mind about what He gives, He’s not two-faced. Your perspective or mindset about Him may change, but he does not.

So many have may have left ministry because of one thing or the other, you may have stopped pastoring, holding meetings or whatever form of ministry because of pressures, financial, marital or personal issues, but know that God uses these pressures to bring out His best in us.
Apostle Paul says; we are pressed on every side but not crushed, cast down but not destroyed. The promise always comes after the process.
From Kathryn’s example, We have learnt that no one is far too gone, no one is out of God’s use, and instead of driving the word of God against people that are under pressure, let’s help them heal. Let’s get them back on track. Handle that brother or sister with care. God does not just want some individual spiritual giants, He wants to build His body! God is not just interested in your denomination, He wants to build His Church!

HER LAST MEETING....
As everyone left the auditorium, Kathryn walked quietly to the end of the stage. She raised her head and slowly scanned the balcony, as if she was gazing at every seat. It seemed like an eternity. Then, Kathryn dropped her gaze to the second balcony, following every row and every seat with her eyes. Then, she looked at the ground floor, studying every seat.35
We can only imagine what was going through Kathryn's mind, the memories, the victories, the healings, the laughter, and the tears. Was it possible that Kathryn knew she would never return to the platform? Was it possible that, at that moment, she said good-bye to her earthly ministry?
In just a little over three weeks from that November date, Kathryn passed on into glory in the Hillcrest Medical Center of Tulsa, Oklahoma, after open-heart surgery.

Years ago, I told God: "God, I'm tired of using Uber to programs. God, give me a car, give me a car, give me a car. Lord, I want a car!"
I started praying towards that car, and I even wrote down the deadline—I said, "Lord, by the end of May, I want a car."
Then I went for a program. They didn't even list me among the guest ministers because they didn't think I was worthy. They had pictures of about seven big names, and my name was just tucked somewhere at the bottom. But I was happy! I said, "Oh my God, they gave me an opportunity!"
Before I went for that program—like every other program—I made sure I was spiritually fortified. I prayed, "Lord, as I go for this program, something must happen!"
When I got there, the event was running, and I didn't know when my turn was coming. The program was almost over!
I kept asking, "When am I coming up?"
They said, "Wait, wait! The main artists are still ministering."
I prayed, "God, please don't let this program end without me."
Finally, before the next main artist was ready, they said, "Okay, just go up for four minutes. Just go, go!"
They handed me the mic, and I stepped up.
Sometimes God gives you one opportunity. Just one! Will you be good enough to demonstrate excellence? Will you be good enough to make history with that single moment?
In those four minutes, I ministered—and the atmosphere completely shifted! The power of God swept everywhere. I didn't try to sing what was popular or trending; I sang the song the Lord gave me. It wasn't popular—it was my song.
Years ago, the Lord told me: "Anywhere you go, sing the song I gave you—whether they know it or not." So I don't go out trying to sing what people like just to please the crowd. I come with my message! Just like there is the Gospel according to Matthew or John, there is a gospel God has put inside you. If you're a Gospel minister listening to me, sing the song God gave you! Don't go trying to copy someone else—you have your own mandate.
So I stood there and said, "Lord, in these four minutes, I will sing what You gave me." I sang it—and the holy presence of God broke out!
When I finished and came down, the main guest artist they were all waiting for came up... and he couldn't sing any other song! He had to sing the exact song I just sang! He kept saying, "Oh my God, can you come back?" Me, who wasn't even in the plan! Suddenly, the whole event became about that song and that encounter.
When I stepped off stage, a man held my hand weeping. He said, "Since my wife and I were dating 10 years ago, I have never cried. But I cried today. I encountered something today! How much does it cost to produce this song? Is it out?"
I said, "Sir, we are trusting God."
He said, "Don't trust God, I am here! Tell me, how much do you need?"
I told him, and he said, "Come and collect it tomorrow!"
Then another man held me and said, "The Lord told me to give you a car tomorrow. Come and collect a car!"
I didn't go there as a superstar. They didn't even know my name! But I went there with a spirit. There is something called Anagkazo—a compelling spiritual power! A power such that nobody listens to you and leaves the same, or forgets that you ever ministered!
How can you sing and your song dies on stage? How can you be a makeup artist or a hairdresser, and you're just "one of them"? When you touch someone's face or hair, there ought to be a spiritual dimension of excellence where they say, "There is something different about your hands!"
My job is done if I can transmit that spirit into you today—not just leave you with words, but impart that spirit!
The very next day, they gave me the car. And do you know what date it was? The very last day of May. The exact deadline I gave to God!
That was just the beginning. From that day on, doors opened, and people started gifting me cars.

There are some situations where people can explain why a murder happened but there is none for rape.

“We were fighting and I pushed him and he fell and hit his head on a slab and died”

“He attacked my wife and I punched him and he died”

“He stole my life’s savings, I tracked him down and took his life”

So many murderers in prison have different excuses for why they committed murder. Could be revenge, could be a crime of passion, could even be an accident, could be self defense.

This is why nuance and context is considered during trials to determine whether a person is truly guilty and even the length of sentence the judge gives.

What you’ll never hear in your life is an excuse for rape.

“I was sexually frustrated and I would have died if I didn’t do it with her”

“I never nack for 3 months and my blood pressure was rising. She was the only one available”

“My penis has been erect for one week. I had to find a solution”

You see how foolish those things sound? That’s why you’ll never hear them because none of them are even near valid excuses.

There is 100% no justification for rape.

It is one of those crimes where the victim becomes a victim for life.

Some of us have had our pockets picked before and our phones and wallets stolen. We grieved over it, e pain us but eventually, we bought new and even better phones and moved on.

No one whose blackberry bold 3 was stolen 19 years ago still reflects about it and grieves over it. The person is no longer a victim.

But with rape, the victim is a victim forever. It is a lifetime of trauma.
