We chose Cardano for a simple reason: blockchain removes the question who controls the truth of asset identity. With BikeID, that truth is decentralized and still verifiable.
BikeID goes beyond cycling.
It shows how real-world assets can carry verifiable identity improving ownership, tracking, and trust across the industry.
For @Cardano, it means more than users it brings real assets and real activity onto the network.
Not just transactions, but real-world usage tied to physical products.
This is where blockchain moves from concept to application.
This is where adoption becomes real.
Big step forward for real-world blockchain adoption.
BikeID, EcoBike, and the Cardano Foundation have submitted a joint proposal to EIT Urban Mobility to build a micromobility data platform for the next era of cycling.
One goal: secure, verifiable digital identity for every bike.

@phil_uplc@shaggyrax@CryptoJoe101 We’re mixing layers here. The chain must stay neutral, permissionless, unopinionated - yes. Applications live in the real world and real businesses. If you sell bikes, you comply with DPP. If you issue a stablecoin, you deal with KYC. That doesn’t turn Cardano into Canton.
@CryptoJoe101@BikeIDNumber@Cardano Exactly.
The future of blockchain will be won by infrastructure. Boring metadata is where the real value sits, where regulation meets revenue. If #Cardano becomes the ledger for compliant, verifiable industry data now it is not boring anymore.
Bullish on Cardano 🤯
How would you feel if every product you buy came with a permanent digital record showing its origin, ownership, and service history?
That’s the idea behind the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP).
For bikes, this means identity and lifecycle data can no longer disappear. @BikeIDNumber make this possible, while Cardano secures the verification layer.
As more bikes are registered, more real-world data and transactions naturally move onto @Cardano driving steady, non-speculative ecosystem growth.
The @Cardano community usually cares about 3 things:
1. Projects that can actually deliver
2. Real progress you can see
3. A clear long-term goal
And that’s exactly what @BIKEIDNumber is doing.

Thanks @Cardano_Power@hoskytoken We’re not writing every event to mainnet.
BikeID batches registrations and lifecycle updates, then anchors cryptographic proofs to Cardano. At 1M bikes with full lifecycle history (which we expect by end of ’26) that translates into thousands of secure anchors, not millions of L1 transactions.
This make the solution scalable by design with and efficient, cost-effective architecture, obviously secured by #Cardano mainnet.
Real-world enterprise adoption is the point.
🤯 Announcement
We’re officially launching with Media Expert this March, covering 200 stores across Poland.
To support the rollout, we will be hosting a 3-day workshop in Warsaw, training store managers and key staff on the BikeID registration process, its benefits, and how to implement it smoothly in real retail operations.
On Monday, we’re announcing something huge.
Three forces.
One mission.
A new foundation for cycling.
We're talking infrastructure.
If you care about the future of #micromobility, #cycling or #Cardano - pay attention!
Monday.
Stay tuned.

Markets have been down for weeks, but progress doesn’t stop when prices drop. Builders still build, and cyclists still ride.
Whether you’re holding, building, or just staying consistent, keep going. The strongest momentum is usually built during the quiet seasons.
Make sure to follow BikeID. Growing the community of builders who believe blockchain should be the backbone of modern enterprise. Starting with micromobility.
We’re getting close to hitting 1K followers, and we’d really love to grow this community.
If you care about giving bikes a real identity consider following us and sharing it with others.
The more people we reach, the more riders can know their bikes don’t have to stay anonymous.
